No trouble at all...in fact, voila! it's now done - Senior Gryffindor Witch rather than Wizard  Hope things go well with the biology and any other subjects you're doing.

Sorry it's a few hours late, but here's the question for this week's quiz:

What is the second ingredient on a standard bag of chips?

Ooops, no, sorry, that's not the question...just got thrown off track by Quicksilver's last posting

The real question, set by Firebolt360 of Gryffindor is:

In the third Harry Potter book, where does Snape say the Kappa is most common in, and in the book, Fantastic Creatures and Where to Find Them, where is the Kappa actually most commonly found in?

Seeing as the question is set by Gryfindor, this one is open to Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Houses who give the correct answer will score 10 house points for this one....but, for any house which gets the answer wrong, or no answer, 10 points will be awarded to Gryffindor.
Best of luck and have fun :jump:

Time for the final countdown - I'll place a deadline for the quiz this week as 9.00am UK time on saturday morning (just under 36 hours from now). Please post your final answers in your Common Rooms by then and I'll visit the Common Rooms on saturday to collect them.

It's answer time in our latest quiz - here we go. :drums:

The answer is: Snape says the Kappa is most commonly found in Mongolia, but actually, according to the book, Fantastic Creatures and Where to Find Them, the Kappa is most common in Japan.

Slytherin are the only House to have te correct answer, so Slytherin score 10 House Points. Gryffindor scores 20 points due to no answers coming from Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. Therefore the current scores are:

Slytherin 41
Gryffindor 35
Hufflepuff 0
Ravenclaw 0

So Gryffindor, with their latest question, have caught up some ground with Slytherin, but Hufflepuf and Ravenclaw are still yet to score.

Slytherin, being the House with the most points scored in this particular week's quiz now have the advantage of being able to set the questions for the next quiz. Over to you, Slytherin. When you're ready just post the questions in your Common Room and I'll collect them shortly.

Sorry Quicksilver...should I maybe give a bit more time for the quizzes in the future? Does anyone have any particular preferences?

OK, sorry it seems I jumped the gun this time. I just figured the houses who hadn't answered after the time period just didn't have an answer at all. I guess I should try to be a bit less quick on the draw next time.
