actually, several people said the original ben looked like...i think it was swamp dragons...from Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels...which I have never read so I cant say if he does or not.....but why cant dragons be fat?? Have you ever met one??

Of course they can be fat... It just that it's not common: dragons are those mythical creatures that fly, that are strong, athletic... But of course there may be fat dragons... Only it makes them strange!

A new dragon requested by a friend...took me all evening to shade that....perhaps say 3-4 hours....

I dont normally do backgrounds but I needed a tree to show the dragon's size and it actually turned out pretty good.

Sonkem... I'm wondering... You certainly know that Parvus is the Latin word for "Little" (or your dragon would not be as tall as a snail). But do you know that it evolved and, nowadays, in Portuguese, it means "silly, stupid"? Just wondering if your dragons have personality and, if thay have, the one this little dragon has... :eekie:

its not up to me to know what the name means or the personality...if mister YayGollum wants to call his new roleplay dragon Parvus then thats what the picture of it will be called....

I have no idea what Parvus means...I just follow the description I'm given....and it is a small dragon, it is meant to be the size of a pony. As far as I know its meant to be clever and sneaky. (since its for a middleearth roleplay that is small, when you consider the size of smaug and others....)

*sighs*

always bugs me when people start asking me whether I know what the names mean.....like the person on elfwood who asked me whether I knew what the scottish meaning of Pish is (for the picture called Pishkin) but the person who requested Pishkin and chose the name isn't scottish i think. Never did get to find out what that meant....
