Yeah, I offered to help you choose by coming up with some ideas...in the end I struggled to come up with anything and was about as useful as an extra thumb! :D

I chose my tittle a little after reading the fifth book... and "metamorphmagus" seemed so nice to me, I decided to choose that one, adding a few extra items around... Lol!

Hey, if I wanted to be a teacher at a school other than Hogwarts, and specified it in the title, can it be used then? I have an idea for one when I'm able to do it...

Yes, that would be fine. Once you're a Fully Qualified Wizard you can teach at any Wizarding School or take up any occupation. :)

hey, i just got my title! I'm a stay-at-home mommy, so it seemed appropriate! ('sides, if you look in the Books forum, I have something asking about Primary schools, it bugs me that it never mentions where wizarding kids learn to read, count, tie their shoelaces, etc.) :-)

lol it's a term used mostly with people who have children or are around them a lot... I don't know for sure why we use it, it's just one of those words that comes up naturally when dealing with kids...

I know this is sorta of topic, but do you mind explaining the choice of Appleton in your username...I live near Appleton, Wisconsin and I am curious about the origin of your username!! Hehehehe

haha... well, I've never been to Wisconsin... didn't know there was an Appleton, WI... hmmm...

Well, "Minerva" is a derivation of Athena... McGonagall is one of my favorite characters, I relate to her more than almost everyone in the books (and, coincidentally, Hermione)... Athena was the goddess of learning, wisdom, war, and crafts.

Also, J.K. Rowling uses a lot of alliteration (names that start with the same letter), so I tried to come up with a last name that went okay with Athena and started with "A" and pulled that one out of the air... :-)

So, the first name has some meaning... the last one doesn't, really.

Haha! That is neat! When I first saw your name around here I thought you were a fellow "cheesehead" as PinkyPrincess and I like to refere to ourselves around here. Oh well, nice job in picking a last name, it is very neato!
