The boy who lived - Distortia has a son!

Postby Ms. Elsewhere » Thursday 26 June 2008 1:29:57am

Dearest Forum members, it is my great pleasure to announce that I have a 1 week old baby BOY. We shall expect great things from him. (lol)

He is called Riley Stephen Allan James
Born on June 16 2008 at 9:06pm
Weighing 9lbs 6 ounces
He has brown hair, tight curls
Dark blue eyes

I shall organise a picture as soon as I can. I miss u all.. I have posted in Next Generation, and I hope to be able to come on once in a while, for a newborn, plus a 3 year old is very time consuming.

So.... hurray! The 'easy' bit is over... on with raising him and teaching him all the ways of the wizarding world... lol!

xx :jump:

Congratulations. New life in this world is always a blessing. I hope to see Riley on this forum in about ten years. I'm sure he'd be a great contributor to the RPG forum. Again, congratulations, and have fun parenting.

Didn't I tell you it would be a Riley !! Congratulations, you'll be a great mum to a boy, but be prepared for boyish attitude ( nothing like the girl attitude ). I'm really excited, he's lucky to have such a cool mother and he's also lucky to have such a cool name !

Congratulations!!! Welcome to the world, baby Riley! Good luck with raising him in the coming years. I am sure you will bring him up to be a very nice boy, educated in both the Muggle and Wizarding worlds. :)

Can't wait to see pics! He's big! I was 6lbs 10 oz or so when I was born.

You are all so kind with your well wishes!

It's such a thrill..... even the 3am feeds, lol.

It's kinda of like.. and I know it's silly but whatever... I've got my own little Harry Potter.... poor guy, he's probably gonna hate all things fantasy...

But his mummy will be a die hard to the end!

I think we all will be dead before we even consider that Harry Potter could just be fake ...

What? Harry Potter's not real? Then how come whenever I get bored, I can just swing onto a broom and fly out my window. *Forgets to mention that he falls down after only half a second of being airborne*

lol! On TV tonight they had Antique Road Show in the church where most of Hogwart's footage was filmed. sigh, the joys and pleasures of modern technology bringing HP to life!

Now when the heck is the next movie coming out!!!!!

(I need a fix... I'll bring Riley and he can sleep in my lap! lol Then he can get HP into his head via sleep therapy! hee hee)

hahah... well my friend has her five year old loving HP, he's even got a wand! Wow....

I cannot believe how THRILLED I am to have a son.... it's one thing to have a girl, they are cute, and sweet and they can be a little friend for you (as a mum) and u can do 'girl' things together, but there is this different sort of, I guess pride in having a son. And I love them both soooooooooo much! Wow... this could be the sleep deprived Distortia talking... a bit emotional I think. lol

Gawd it's good to get on here.... and have a few seconds to myself....

We don't have a stork here so it must have been these guys that flew your little one to you...

Many congratulations Distortia! I'm sure that he'll bring even more magic into your life.
