I couldn't believe that Dobby lost out to Golem of Lord of the Rings fame. What was worse was when Golem came out and started splurting out key phrases and then proceeding to call Dobby a number of names in some sort of Donald Duck language. I think Dobby's character was of a higher quality animation then Golem. Dobby was so defined and actually looked as if he was there where Golem didn't exactly blend into the enviornment. Thats MTV for you though. God forbid they didn't kiss The Two Towers : Lord of the Rings butts all night. That could have lost them some viewers.

I don't know, I really thought that Gollum was done a lot better than Dobby. Gollum's character just seemed to show so much more emotion and personality than Dobby's. I mean, little things like his twitching or the the reflection in his eyes gave him more of a human-like quality that made him more believable than Dobby. Dobby was just too Jar Jar-ish for me...

That really hurts. Jar Jarish......I think Dobby was way collder. Golem reminded me of the same CGI stuff they used for the Mummy 2. The scene were Dobby was hitting himself in the head with the lamp was awesome. Jar Jarish...shame on you lol.

Well, on just the puter gereation, I think that Dobby was way better, but we're kinda getting into the characters now...

Dobby was kinda kooky... a little bit strange, and suposed to be quite funny, whereas Gollum was supposed to show alot more emotion. He was a skitso, with one personality that was very nasty, and the other trusting, and very very afraid... Dobby wasnt' supposed to show those emotions, which might be why some think that he came of a little jar jer binks... they both had the comic relief thing going for them, but dobby actualyl had a point, jar jar was just stupid...
