I know! I'm going as Hermione. I actually found a grey sweater-vest that my dad used to use cross-country skiing. And I borrowed a tie of his. a cape from YKW. And black pants and a white shirt that I used for a music festival a few years ago. Are you going to read the books to Lily? :)

Cool have a good time! Yes my little daughter will definitely be brought up on HP - I wouldn't have it any other way. Obviously she'll have to be much older for them mind - don't want her getting scared of things like spiders, giants, dementors etc until she can handle them but when I do introduce her to them, I might make her wait a month between books so she can appreciate the anticipation like we have. - I dunno is that cruel!

i don't know. I always like to proceed straight to the next one if I can. And maybe if you bring her up wth Giants and Basilisks and such she won't be as scared of them as she would otherwise have been. But she's your daughter.

ah but it's the art of patience and excitement.. I'm sure when we get there we'll know what to do! I'm not sure I could stand to let her wait a month between!

My chorus teacher always says that I could read through a nuclear war. Until I die of course.

Speaking of nuclear war, if you knew that a bomb would be dropped in 20min would you skip to the last page of the book?
