Regulus

Isn't it strange and slightly conveient that Regulus is prominently in the sky tonight? It's right between Venus and Saturn. I'll be showing it to people. I'm bringing my sky packet to the party tonight!

That's intriguing...I'd heard something on the TV or radio about the release of the book coinciding with the start of the UK school summer holidays but now you've got me wondering if there's more to the release date than just that.

I nearly did a web search on Regulus to find out more, but stopped quickly before entering the word in the search box....no more searching on HP related topics for me (unless it's absolutely vital for the forum) until I've read the book...don't want to find out anything by accident.

I had to search Bellatrix and Regulus and Alphard for an elaborate theory of mine involving, Leo, Canis Major, Orion, Draco, and Egyptian Mythology. I found about Regulus from a star packet that we're advised to do over the summer. I guess that it has come in handy, though. I didn't get a chance to see Regulus or any other stars last night though. It was to bright and cloudy. But I could guess where it was from Venus. I don't know if I imagined it or not, but I think that I saw a tiny pin-prick of light approximatly where it should be right over Barnes & Noble when I got there.

Very interesting! I wondered why they didn't wait another week and release the book on Harry's birthday. But maybe they did this on purpose?
