Are they any good these books? Is it a complete series? or are there more books to come? I've not heard of them before I have to admit. What's the basic plot - please don't spoil too much

I'm guessing someone knicked the Robin Hood story but gave him a s*x change, couldn't even come up with an original name could they, Rowan Hood...they are sorted though because Robin Hood is such an old tale that I bet noone owns copyright for it so people can do what they want with it.

Actually, they're about Robin's daughter, Rosemary. It's a complete series and the basic plot is that after some fake knights burn her mother in the house to ground because she's a woodswife and daughter of an aelfe who fell in love with a human and ran off to marry him. The aelfe, if you don't already know, are ancient spirits in the hills of the British Isles. Ro's got nowhere else to go besides: moving into a house in the village and then marrying the son of the family already there, having the Lord take her and use her according to his will, and go to Robin Hood whom her Mother said was her father. Seeing as she's only thirteen, she chose the last option. So she disguises herself as a boy and goes off to Sherwood forest and gathers her own band of misfit, runaway, wanted, wolfshead, teens. And the books are written from views of other members of the band over a two year period. In each of these books they tell their own story and events in their lives. Past, present, and sometimes even their dreams for the future.

Can I be honest, that sounds a bit lame??? Sorry if that offends anyone I guess it doesn't really sound like my sort of book series. It doesn't sound like much of an original idea.

They may be interesting but right now I'm reading a book called Edyimon Spring, I think it's fairy new. Has anyone else read or heard of it? So far it's good. :)

Yes, its the book of the season, I set it, there is a forum devoted to it further down the main page...I think most people had difficulty finding a copy though, I found it only because it was signed and had a pretty dragon on the cover.
