online games are endless... it is senseless lvling and lvling and there isnt a storyline to follow...
hahaha but i guess it replaces the inactive period of gaming on console when new games arent out yet?

Original PS games are freaking expensive! what's the estimated price for FF13?

Well, the cheaper version of PS3 costs $500. The price was released this year by Sony. PS3 release in US is scheduled for November, so I believe this price is pretty accurate.

I think I will get it sometime at the end of next year or.. I don't know XD

I recently got Chrono Trigger (a super old game for PS 1) for $12 :D I tried playing it on the computer like years ago but got stuck and never finished it. So I'm going second round.

ooooh chrono trigger. heard it got a nice soundtrack

the 30G HDD PS3 will be sufficient for us (i guess)
probably should start saving up for it and the games since it has to be original *ahem*

o.o you can play non-original games on PS?
wait I remember that if you change smth in the playstation - you can play copies ^^' right? Lol, the amount of games I play this would not be worth it (paying to get PS modified)

I was thinking if the Xbox would have a cheaper price tag may be they would lower down PS's price. But xbox is $400 <_<' not cheap either...

eh yeah PS1 allows non-original games to be played on until they decided to change the setting for PS2 and definitely PS3 so that it only read original games...
but then again, there is always the modification on console set at ur own risk.

:o WHAT!? Maple Story??!?! Man, if the husband is addicted to World of Warcraft and had no time for the family... I can believe it cos that is the World's most popular MMORPG and it is well, acceptable for adults to be playing... but Maple Story?!?! U gotta be kidding, it is for kids & teen & sometimes, very young adults like me HAHAHA

I stopped playing my lvl 55 bandit because none of my real life friends are playing anymore...

YES a Maple Story!! I couldn't believe it myself, and I feel really bad for the girl (my online friend), they have a child together.... :(

Nope, but I had seen clips of WoW on youtube.com
it is essentially a big world adventure of RPG just that there are endless monsters to fight and I dun even know if there is a particular storyline to follow like in console RPG!

I still love my console RPGs the most! Entirely because of the good storyline. It is like reading a book but being in the book itself

Hey that's me exactly. I played WoW but couldn't get in to it because of the lack of storyline. I've seen my friend at level 60 battling with 40 team members. That looks fun but getting there is boring.
I still prefer RPGs on PS2 and Cube.

Hehe, I guess it is the human interaction of the game aspect.
It could be enjoyable to play a game with your friends. but once they are not interested in it, you'll find yourself slowly giving it up too
