What about Neville? and Luna?

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

how is luna going to play a part in the next book? she was at the ministry, remember? people have covered what they think ginny will do. but not luna. and neville??? who seems to be very important what with the past possibility of the prophesy involving him? and he was at the ministry too. i want to know... what about neville and luna??

I like them both. I think neville will become more confident and get out from under his father's shadow/grandmother's nagging, and that will make a big difference. I think Luna must be fairly skilled too, since she was the only unhurt member of the Ron Ginny Luna group down in the department of mysteries. The end of HBP doesn't make it seem like Harry will see a lot of his school friends though...

yup both of the are definitly good friends now. do you think they'll tag along? or would that be too many? cos they've joined in the battles in the last 2 books now and i can't imagine them just sitting back and letting him go it alone at this stage.

I think Neville will definitely play a big role in the final book -- he will be involved to help HP as much as needed because it is thanks to LV (in a roundabout way) that his parents are how they are today. Part of Neville will always want to get back at Bellatrix and the DE's in general and since the DE's obey LV's orders, he has a valid reason for wanting to support HP as best he can.

I forget now, do we learn exactly what Luna's mom was working on when she died? Perhaps it was something against the dark arts? And if so, Luna, too will have reason to want to be there as much as possible. But that might be a stretch I guess. I think Luna, perhaps for no other reason, will want to be involved because she now knows that HP, et al, are her friends. She has never had true friends before. I'm guessing one of Luna's main characteristics will be her loyalty to her friends.

edited to add:
forgot to mention...I also think Luna and Neville will be coupled off at some point.
