Neville + Hermiones Result in DoDA

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Neville + Hermiones Result in DoDA

Postby Dacre » Monday 18 July 2005 4:31:50pm

I have a strange feeling that Neville is going to turn put to be v. important in some-way to Harry. I have to say I've rarely seen Ron be of much actual use (except in the deadly chess game)
I was surprised more wasn't made of the fact that the one OWL she didn't get the top grade in was Defense against the Dark Arts.

I think they all have their strengths which will be demonstrated in the last book. Sometimes it does not always come down to academics.

Within the trio, there is Ron - a pure-blood, Hermione - a muggle-born and Harry - I think they would class as a half-blood as his dad was a pure-blood.

This must have some significance for what happens after Voldemort is detroyed - I can't believe Harry will die as some people say.

Hermione will show her strength when it comes to researching the Horcruxes I think and knowing how to destroy them, and I reckon Ron will give us some humour in the last book with some dodgy apparates! It can't always be on with business though and that is where Ron keeps Harry's head above water.

i feel sorry for ron. he always gets the short end of the stick he always seems to be there as moral support rather than as a strong magical asset to help harry. he always goes down first in the battles. in PS, PoA, OotP. poor ron. i want him to actually be a bit more powerful, more than just comedy.

Draco actually did something useful for his team, Thestral, so there may be hope for Ron yet!

i know i really hope so. cos i think ron needs the boost. he knows he's just the moral support. he wants so badly to be acknowledged, yet he never really is. fingers crossed for him. :)

I kind of hope that Ron's powers stay the same. I like Ron the way he is. Besides it would be kind of boring if everyone Harry is friends with turn into a "superpower". I also like Harry not being the strongest magiclly speaking. I think his other attributes such as his courage are more important.

I could imagine that at this point Harry is considered a B class, Ron a C class and Voldermort and Dumbledore would have to be a SS class. Where do you think Harry will be by the end of the series

I agree that Hermione will be of great importance when it comes to researching the Horcruxes, Ron will be sure to keep Harry in check and give him th ehumour he needs to live and also Neville may be a VIP in th enext book...I just have a feeling...

I think their strenght lies in friendship and all those things that come along with it. Remember Voldemort has no friends. Harry so get a bonus superpower. And so does Hermione and Ron and Neville, and maybe even Luna will help in the end.

Something's weird about Hermione though. In an interview J.K.R said, "I'm surprised not many people are often concerned about Hermione. She seems rather vulnerable to me." A clue to book 7? Perhaps Harry's friends will play an even bigger role in the final book.
