Bellatrix should have suffered more on ootp...i mean, she killed tortured neville's parents, totured neville himsef and killed Sirius....I wasn't fair...I wish Neville could have made her suffer...I think Bellatrix is the worst deatheater....

Yes, I think she's the cruelest one among them. Well, I'm sure JKR will make her suffer some more... Anyway, I've been wondering why is Bellatrix the way she is, why so cruel. And are there more female Death Eaters?

i think Bellatrix is the only female death eater...At least they didn't mention about another girl...Anyway, i think that bellatrix and Lucius Malfoy are the head death eaters.....

hm...I think there are some DEs about which we only know the last names, likes Wilkes I think. We normally assume they were men, but who knows?

As far as we know Bellatrix is the only female DE but we really dont know... What we DO know is that she is by far the most evil of all the DE and nearly as powerful as Voldie (she beat Tonks and Sirius in no time)

My God, I somehow haven't realized that! She beat Tonks and Sirius and was without practice for 14 years! Incredible. Anyway, it would be funny if those DEs we know only the last names of were female. In my language we distinguish male and female surnames (eg. Black for a man, but Blackova, for a woman) and they all have a male surname, so it would be a bit of a shock to the translator...

LOl... The same here... In fact, I think some of the editions of CoS in Portugal have Sprout as a man, bacause of the lack of gender in English! But theb tranlators found out their mistake and corrected it in the other books.

As for Bellatrix... what a good ally she could be had she gone to the lighter side of the war! She does seem very powerfull!

well it would be nice to see neville get his revenge, but life isn't always fair, and pretty, and just. JKR seems to want that message to be clear in everyones minds, as she kills off a beloved character. I don't know how realistic she'll make it, but i think as you all are saying, bellatrix is too strong, she'd beat neville in a second.

Well, not really like her, but I think she's an interesting character. She's so evil and maybe even mad (she seems a bit mad to me) and I wonder why she's like this.
