But I think we get a kinda controversial impression of Narcissa...on the one hand, she's a very arrogant woman and of course, she's married to Lucius. But on the other hand, she sends Draco cakes to Hogwarts, and she doesn't allow him to attend Durmstrang for it's so far away...so she's rather affectionate as well, whereas Lucius is even ashamed if Draco isn't the best...

Well, we really dont' know much about her, do we... I mean, we don't know what her opinion is about Draco's grades, or anything else for that matter...

I think that she is a true evil person, just like Lucious!

Agreed. I think it's agreed that Luscious Lucius is a horrible parent and I'm under the impression that a lot of Draco's worst qualities stem from his father. However, it would make for an interesting plot set-up if Narcissa served as a dramatic foil for Lucius. We don't know much about her other than the fact that she does send Draco sweets and such so her character is still open to a lot of interpretation.

Just thought of this!

We do know something about her, she was in Slytherin. Draco said all of his family has been for as long as... that means her, any bros and sisters, parents... etc

And then I thought, but wait, maybe she is a Muggle...and then laughed tonnes! As if Lucious would marry a muggle and create mudblood children (funny if Draco was one tho!)

If she was in Slytherin, and decided to marry Lucius and I'm not sure she was good; that would be mean she is very stupid and naive, no?
