Favourite Character in HBP...(New or Old)

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Snape is my new favorite -- I mean, I'd hate him in real life, but the character is fantastic. I hadn't realized how much I liked Snape until he killed DD and how shocked i was at it -- it made me realize how much I had liked him after all -- so now I am really grasping at the hope that snape really is working on the side of good still. I have high hopes for snape in the final book.

They barely featured in this book, but I think the Weasley twins are by far the best characters (except in the films - nothing like I imagine) don't care about exams, but obviously good wizzards who work hard at what they do learn, and generally quite amusing I think.

I used to like Percy. Anyone with the courage and strength to follow his dreams should be congratulated... or... something.

I do dislike him for the fact that even though his parents and family were there for him growing up, and they taught him everything about moral values, he's abandoned them. I had a small gleam of hope that he'd come around in ootp, but this just tears me apart. I'd have to say that my new favorite character is... Dumbledore. He was up there before, but this book showed just how much he loved harry. Just how much he was willing to do for him. And, he brought humor to the books.

My newest favorite characters are Snape and Ginny.

I found myself trying to make excuses and stick up for Snape in my head while I was reading the parts where he seems evil. I never thought that I liked Snape but apparently I needed this book to make me see just how much I did. I hope he is good because then if hes not I will have to go back to hating him agian.

And Ginny has really changed a lot since her days of reading unknown journals and running from Harry. She really seemed to have developed into an interesting character in this book.

Ginny is a fantastic character, but for me it's still Snape. He's just so interesting and his background intrigues me. Still think he's good.

I hope he bites it particularly hard in the end, preferably at Harry's hands using Sectusempra or Levilicorpus... or even better, a spell Harry made up

Help, anybody else who hated Ginny-Sue? The next time I have to read about her oh-so-pretty, long, fiery red hair and how she flips it back, I'll vomit straight onto my book. She reminds me pretty much of perfect Lily, only she's worse.

Sorry.

Anyway, my favourite character is still Snape, but Tommymort has come quite close. And I've also missed the twins a lot.

Oh gee siana, you don't like Ginny, but you like Snape and Voldermort. Well, at least I know which side to look for you one when dealing with bullies and monsters

Me, I kind of liked Slughorm, something about him appeals to me

I'm not sure he's my favorite, but I really like Neville. I think I can identify with him the most, he has this klutzy, get everything wrong outside, but inside, I think he is raging for revenge. I hope JKR lets him have it! :evil grin:

my favorite characters are ginny harry tonks lupin and sirius. i love sirius and lupin. they are so great. i love them becuase they were to of the true maruaders. petigrew is a traitor, therefore not worthy of my time.hary was an idiot in ootp but has redeemed himself by controlling his temper in hbp. ginny has always been cool . she is like me in every way except her eyes and freckles and last but not least is tonks she is awesome becauseof her ability to change her apperance at will and her fashion sense she and lupin are perfect for each other
