Gred and Forge :p

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

i think fred and george's genius in their developement of obscure joke items could possibly be a key weapon in developing new weapons and other items of use and importance for the Order of the Phoenix. I mean, those Extenable Ears are a real feat and could possibly help in some sort of spy tool...kinda like Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes could possibly be a front for some cool order of the phoenix version of james bond spy tool developement lab...just a thought...Fred and George will defintely be major character throughout the book!

i like the james bod spy tool place idea. oh, that would be the coolest: magical james bod devices! the would be the greatest for the movies, to actually see some weird magical crazy weapon-like stuff. oh i'd love it. and you know, wheezlee's (sp?) wizard wheezes probly wouldn't be suspected by anyone as the base for all this stuff, i mean, come on, it's a joke shop right? oh i'm excited!!

as was mentioned in the book, only wizards who are out of school can be part of the order. Fred and George can join now and finally attend the meetings once they join. both will help in some way in the books and give harry free jokes from their shop.

my favorite moment is definetely when they say that they hope they will try vanishing the fireworks, cos they multiply by ten if you try. any way, it must be pretty powerful magic to protect them against spells ...

fred and george will probably join the order now that they are old enough, and they are probably VERY powerful wizards to be able to create some of the stuff they have created. I can't wait to see their shop, and I can't wait to see how their jokes actually help the order...

Great ideas... I love the twins and I would love to see the Weasley family get a few well earned dollars, but are the twins really mature enough to join the order. Their maturity level seems to be lower than that of Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny.

Don't get me wrong, I think they will be extremely valuable in assisting the Order, but can you see them sitting around in a meeting with Mad-Eye Moody and cracking jokes?

I wouldn't exactly call them fully mature, but never immature. I mean they can have their serious moments, like when Arthur was ill. I'm sure they can take some things seriously. LV is prolly one of those things...and personally soleum (sp) twins is just boring...the story needs the comic relief

Oh, I do agree Meg. But if you want comic relief, I'm still picturing Mad-Eye and the Twins.

"Thanks for the Canarey Cream, Fred" says Moody as the trio stake out Lord Voldemorts secret hideout. "^%$^%#" says Moody as he turns into a large yellow canary and Death Eaters start swarming out of the hideout.

Just kidding. But you never know with Fred and George. :D

Lol Huey. An excellent idea though, just feed the canary creams to the death eaters and attack them while they're yellow and feathery. Fred and George are the master tacticians.

Well, Hermoine dismissed George and Fred for only knowing and learning flashy magic that has no value. But that's a part of her growing up; learning that just because it wasn't what she valued, it wasn't valuable.

Harry understood it better. He knew they'd be great at a joke shop, and gave them his triwizard winnings to do it. He's helped the Weasley's the only way he can. Molly and Arther won't take money, but he's financing their son's joke shop. He also used it to get Ron some different dress robes, but didn't want the credit. Fred and George are the only two Weasley's rebellous enough to have taken the money, but they are using it well. I have a feeling Harry's generousity will be repaid someday.

I'm sure Fred and George would be able to put their particular talents in inventing to good use... and if they do join the OotP, they can craete weapons instead of jokes that might be very useful against the Deatheaters. Hermione would probably have to eat her words. And I agree. JK Rowling does not do anything for no reason... and so, I too have a feeling that Harry's generousity wil be repaid someday.

Besides, even if it was not repaid, maybe because he was the one to fork out the money, the twins would let him be the major shareholder of the shop. With such booming business, Harry can be the richest wizard in no time at all.

Well, it's kind of odd really. Mrs. Weasley asked Harry not to dwell on the pain he went through in GOF, just what he'd buy with his winnings. And what he wanted the most? To help the Weasleys.

Neither Ron or Hermoine reallly yet realize what the Weasley's mean to Harry. Both Ron and Hermoine are loved deeply by their parents. Harry has never been loved as a parent, except by Sirius and the Weasleys.

While it kind of defied Molly's wishes, Harry gave Fred and George the needed gold to persue their dream. Plus, after the experience with Percy (who really was horrible; not speaking to his parents, not visiting his father in the hospital, and rejecting a Christmas gift), Molly maybe now knows that it's more important for her children to chase their own dreams, not hers. Plus, you can't deny the twins are not successful. They owe Harry big and will repay him in any way they can now.

It's also kind of funny that Harry's gift of the the gold bought Harry the chance to talk to Sirius (from Umbridge's office), and the chance for the Weasley twins to demonstrate their power. The openly defied Umbridge because they didn't care. Yes, turning a school corridor into a swamp was funny for them. Plus they showed her up. Umbridge couldn't reverse the swamp spell or the SNEAK spell. Umbridge can't deal with adversity, but Harry always has.
