Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

I said Draco because I assume that because he's a Malfoy he'll follow in his Dad's footsteps, but I think a good storyline would be if Draco goes against his family and goes to Dumbledores side...I think that'll be cool!!!!

I really hope we don't see Draco suddenly see the error of his ways and become a hero. It would be too cliche`d and it would totally go against his character. So far, we have seen absolutly no redeeming qualities in Draco at all. He is very much his father's son.

If Draco turns out good, i may never read a book again. It would be unrealistic. Bad people exist in the world and Draco is one of them. It would ruin the HP series for me.

i don't think draco would go to the dark side. i mean, he isn't the nicest of people, and i agree with enchanter, he can't go good or it would ruin the books, but i think that he could be good when he's with a certain someone. *coughcoughginnycoughcough* well, not exactly good persay, but good to her. big difference. i think ginny has potential for going over to the dark side, but thats only potential. i don't think she would.

Same with Hermione & Harry  ......... Not, nobody can really say if that is going to happen or not. Just like Hermione and Ron, we're going to have to wait and see......
But Draco and Ginny...... I hate to say it but I think you're right with that one Tanuki.

imagine draco and ginny.... hmm no emoticon for complete facial contorting disgust. uggghhhhhgggghhh. uggghhhh. slimy git.

no it would be terrible if suddenly on book 6 draco would turn around and say, "hmmm you know what it's actually very wrong, narrow-minded and prejudiced to kill people simply because they're muggle born. i think i will go and help those lovely chaps harry and albus combat this sort of moral evil." walks off humming with little furry animals frolicking at his feet

yeah right he's been characterised as, i won't say wholly evil cos no-one is, but he's bad and it would be so unrealistic, there is no realistic way that you could backtrack his character now. besides i think i remember JK laughing/snorting derisivly in answer to a question of will harry and draco ever patch things up and work together? i can't remember where it was but she shot down the idea so quickly that i think we can be sure there will be nothing of that nature. phew.thank heavens for that.

once again uuuuggggghhhhhh. ugh ugh ugh.

errr... tanuki can i get a clarification here, but you believe in absolute evil? you think there are people are wholly evil??!!

people do evil things, have evil actions but no-one is evil. we don't live in mediveal times when there was only black and white. god and the devil.

There is evil in this world, whether you like to admit it or not. My family has looked evil in the eye, the entire sadistic, callous, racist embodyment of it. So, yes, I do believe that there are people who are wholly evil.

As for this gray area people keep talking about, that is something they made up so they wouldn't feel so bad about sinning. God and the devil do exist.

i hoped i had misunderstood your point but alas no. i believe in areas of gray so does that make me a sinner trying to ease my conscience? also i do not believe in god, or the devil. i believe people are human and human nature is flawed and people make bad judgements. although i very very very definitly do believe that there are bad inconsiderate people out there. bad people exist and they will never have a good nature or be good people cos i don't think some people have that strength of character to do the right thing.

but they are not evil. that is the most simplistic thing i have ever heard. there is no black and white. influences that you don't know of can influence the way people act. you never know the whole story about a person maybe they act out of misunderstanding and you react also out of your misunderstanding of them? there are many many possibilities in this world and to attribute only two choices of 'good' and 'evil' you restrict yourself, your mind, and those around you.

now obviously i don't know what has happened to you and your family, and i am truly sorry for anything you have had to go through, cos i hate the way people treat other people so thoughtlessly. also i wouldn't expect you to post highly sensitive information. but i think you let those who hurt you win, if they make you see the world the way they do, in black and white.

I believe that Ron will be the one to cross over to the side of evil. Draco is already a bad guy, and that won't change. But Ron, he has shown in the past books that he can be influenced by power. In the first book, his greatest desire was to get the recognition of his peers. I think that if he is offered money and power, he would change sides...if only for a while.

His greatest desire wasn't to get the recognition of his peers, it was trying to live up to the reputation set by his brothers. He was overwhlmed by it all because he never thought he would be able to do any of the cool things they did. He's been getting second-hand, worthless stuff most of his life. He's allowed a dream.

I think that one of the trio is bound to at least be tempted, possibly not to join Voldemort, but to use Dark Arts. Hm.

About Draco: I wondered...Lucius surely is on the Dark Side, but does he want his son to be as well? To me, Lucius always seemed like an opportunist, joining the side that promised the most power. At the moment, Voldemort clearly isn't as promising as before. Plus, it's dangerous and Draco is the only heir to the Malfoy name. I'm not sure whether he would really allow Draco to become a Death Eater in uncertain times. Then there's Narcissa, who didn't want her little Draco to go to Durmstrang, sends him cookies etc. Be sure she has a word to say on that matter.
