Moaning Myrtle

Who do you like best and who could you definately live without? Will there be romance in the air for any of them and who will end up with who?

Moaning Myrtle

I know how everyone is wondering what House was she in. I have a picture and her tie looks blue. So she was a ravenclaw. I know in the first pic you saw of her it looked green but it was blue. I'll post the picture when i find it in my folders.

there was a theory somewhere else that she was a slytherin because if you looked carefully enough her tie had the same pin stripe pattern as tom's tie

i personally don' think myrtle is in slytherin. i know the ties are the same, but maybe all the ties back then had the same stripe style... you never know... and i jsut can't imagine her as a slytherin, sure she's mean and grouchy, but she wasn't until she died and she was teased. and most slytherins wouldn't get teased or put up with it...

I don't think she could be in Slytherin. If she were in slytherin, she would be a pure-blood, and the basilisk's job was to rid the school of muggle borns. Slytherins aren't muggle borns, so why would it want to kill her?

but she died by accident...she came out of the toilet facing the entrance to the chamber at the exact moment the basilisk came out of the chamber.....

i think thats more bad luck on her part than basilisk wanted to kill her

although....girls toilets do seem a tad dangerous in hogwarts...i mean...hermione gets attacked by a great big troll in a girls toilet...and myrtle gets killed by the basilisk in another girls toilet.....

i mean couldnt the monster go to the guy's toilet for a change (and maybe catch a slytherin)...i bet that troll was male....bad troll

wait...im totally off topic now....

Or always carry some monster-repellant. that way you can cry as much as you like in a toilet without fesars of a big scary monster coming and petrifying you!

About the same colour tie as Tom thing...

well, I don't remember his tie, but when you see him in the memory, his cloak bears the hogwarts insignia, not one of any specific house? That always sorta confused me...

What about Voldieboy? Technically, he was a Mudblooded Slytherin.

That's a good point, but Tom Riddle's mom was a witch. Still, I don't know how he came to be in Slytherin, since he wasn't a Pureblood. Maybe the Sorting Hat knew that he was the Heir of Slytherin.
