Yed he did, and in which way!!! the Fat Lady was traumatized about Sirius cutting the entry, and Peeves was very happy about that.

Ohh, I never realised taht he got in... I just thought hat he attempted to, but she refused, and he jsut cut the painting out of anger! I didnt' realise that he went through it after...

But if Voldie doesn't know that snape has been spying before his downfall, why wouldn't DD order him to spy again? I mean this would give the a bit of first-hand information, wouldn't it? And it would be much easier for the order to ruin voldies plans, wouldn't it?

Did Sirius get into the common room? I don't really remember reading that, all I knew was that he did his little Zorro number on the Fat Lady...but that was it. I know he got in later, but alas, I do miss a lot of things...*sigh*

Sirius got in and brandished a knife, of course he wanted Scabbers/Pettigrew/Wormtail but they thought he was there to kill Ron (I think it was Ron 'cause the rat was on his side of the room).
