choki, in your latest post in the scenario you mentioned everybody asking him about Susie. Isn't her name Lucia or something similar?

sorry for the confusion, Susie is the name for the Gryffindor girl who was attacked by the basilisk.

Lucia Black... is the 5th year Slytherin prefect, alongside with Tom Riddle, and also the future love interest of my character, Artus Potter. Artus will be having some fierce competition from Tom whom Lucia seems to be a bit flustered whenever he is around...

Oh by the way, I dunno if my character will be having a son called James Potter in the future... hahahaha

Arsenio is a Slytherin. Note the name 'Parkinson' (a relative of Pansy, you think? You'd be right) and of course the slightly sinister first name of Arsenio itself, perhaps distantly from the word arsenic (definitely from arsenic, that's how I thought of the name, when I was looking for something bad...

So yes. Just clearing that up as I noticed him referred to as a Gryffindor in a post this evening.

There is indeed a Potter in the Black family tree. I saw it a couple of months ago I think... can't remember the name.

Ahhh I just checked. It wasn't written in the book but JKR had created a Black family tree, the names were Dorea Black and Charlus Potter...

Well... erm... the family could be incomplete.... with all the burning of the names

Just something that will most likely backfire and cause lots of trouble, which will also give him some attention....so in a way it doesn't back fire completely!

Maybe we could bring him more into the whole Tom Riddle-themed storyline.

Well, Mervani has established himself as a proud pureblood wizard who loathed Tom Riddle for "taking" his "prestige" place.

Whereas the rivarly between Artus and Tom seems to be more on the academic, charisma, love areas, Mervani treats Tom as his rival, but Tom might not treat him in that fashion. So Mervani could be somehow along the line of Severus Snape... just that he is envious of Tom not because of his popularity, but because he stole his position.

Yeah, that's the storyline I was aiming for...so he's a Severus Snape type fellow...except he has been outcast into Hufflepuff (and forgotten- he wants to make a name for himself) because he was supposed to be in Slytherin...Snape was outcast by his fellow Slytherins and the rest of the school.

Maybe he could be with either Arsenio, Riddle or Artus...act as a type of spy or look-out for them...because the teachers pretty much ignore him...he never gets in trouble and is very good at lying or making up excuses.

I think it follows his sort of personality for him to be trying to discover who the heir of Slytherin is.

That could be his goal.
