ya... Riley had said in the story that we woke up in that room with the green carpet. So I think Nikolaus added to that by saying that he found the forced transportation mark in the shack. Now he disapparated to the house, where he's now in a stand off with Valencia. This transportation i reckon will be an interesting bit to explain later to show how much dark magic has evolved over the past 20 years since Voldy fell.... too cool!

Nikolaus is a type of person who will not lend any helping hands if it does not benefit him. Not that he will become the next Voldemort "evil world domination everything will be under my feet" type. More like he's somewhere between bad and pure evil

Arthur can just be a boring goodie. You never know, he might turn out to be the biggest hero of them all.

I like to think that Arthur could be the understimated, kind of like Neville or Ron, where when it comes to the crunch, you surprise us all. I thought too Arthur's character could show the conflict he has with becoming a wizard as a result of a hightly prejudice muggle family tree..... and how what's happened to him is convincing him more and more that being part of the wizard world is a dangerous thing.

I must remember too, we're all first years, so we're only like 11 years old! So we need to think about how we would react to things and behave should be age appropriate.

Did anyone notice too the formation of a new trio of 2 boys and a girl? lol Harry, Ron, Hermione and now Geneve, Arthur and Liam!

I like your character choki, and the way u write him, what u say above is exactly the impression i get. So what's in it for Nikolaus? A chance to discover the darkest magic of all in action - a magical transformation compiling the strongest magic Marcelus could gather.

so... where is Voldy in all this? Where is his pencieve, or state of mind being stored?

I've been writing a fan fic about "The Dark Lord's Daughter" and my theory is he left a trace of himself with his child. (Kind of like when a genetic defect/affect skips a few generations like skin colour, hair colour, height, etc. His actual state of mind was 'due' to come through in Geneve, and Marcelus is aware of this.)

So my theory is, marcelus is acting on orders issued to him when Voldy's daughter was born. Let me think... Geneve's mother would have been born... oh darn it, what are the years again. what year are we in.. I have to go check but I'll leave these thoughts to ponder on...

Liam heard the shout above, he turned his head and saw Geneve screaming for help.

"Gelena, we need your help ! Arthur has been hurt !" he said drastically..

Geneve watched as who she had thought was Galena pulled her hood back with her other hand, her wand still steady in her opponents face. He seemed to be cautious, but was he smiling? Geneve conclude that this must be the professor they were looking for. To Geneve's left, down on the grounds, Geneve noticed something moving around the perimeter of the house. It was a Beagle! It was sniffing about 3 metres away from the house along what seemed like an imaginary wall. She looked back at Liam, who was standing just inside that perimeter. Before Geneve could shout to warn him, Liam stepped forward and hit the barrier, flying back into the snow as if hit by a surge of electricity.
