What about me? I may be playing as a Gryffindor, but I'll refrain from being Keeper. And as for the scoring, what if the person who had been PM'ed posted up what happened like:

Chaser Arven aims left, Keeper Warrington goes right, Arven scores- ten points for Gryffindor!

Then, if the direction is changed the player in question can complain.

Or, what about if Keeper and Chaser PM the appropriate person- and then that person forwards the messages to the Chaser and Keeper respectively. Then they can react to their score or miss before carrying on with the game, and if the reactions don't match then something has gone distinctly wrong.

Or we could just ask someone who is active but not involved with this particular RPG to be Ref for the match.

But they're just ideas because it would be a shame not to have a scoring system- and I'm rambling a bit since I have no lessons until after lunch... I'm bored. :D

Okay... okay well I'm thinking that you can do it, Q.A.

For instance if Gryffindor is having a shot at goal, I'll PM you with the direction of the keeper, and Scarlet or choki can send you the direction of their shot.

If both of you send you one without knowing the other has.. just take the first one.

There - a scoring system. .

Alright, let's say if the Keeper is down, can the Chaser replaces by snatching away the Quaffle?

Like in the story right now, Gryffindor keeper is down... the Chaser is rushing up towards the defence area...

Scoring Chaser chooses a direction (L, R or centre) to score

Defending Chaser chooses a direction to snatch the ball

Can it work that way? We have to keep the story following as well

You can get the Chaser to be an acting Keeper, sure.

But then you have one less Chaser.

Is it to late to join? Choki said that they needed more Gryffindor Quidditch players. Is keeper still available?

It's an RPG, so you can make whatever character you want and play in whatever house your character is in.

You don't have to be in Gryffindor (except if you want to participate in the game going on right now, in which case your character has to be either Gryffindor or Slytherin).

The thing is, your character doesn't have to be a Quidditch player in order for you to participate in the game. My own character is the Charms teacher and a Referee, but I can still play as any member of the Slytherin that isn't another member's character.

What I mean is, there's no need to ask whether or not you can be Keeper. As long as it isn't someone's character (which it isn't) anyone can control it.

Oh, and it's never too late to join. Go ahead and create a character - but bear in mind your character can be a nerdy first-year that has never touched a broomstick, but you can still play Quidditch for whatever House they're in.

But the names of the players were already decided prior to the start of the match. So should Godric be using those chosen names or a new name??? Well, we can always say.... the Gryffindor Keeper got KO again... and here comes a new replacement

I'll keep the same name. I don't mind, but what does "KO" mean? Keeper Out? :???:

Godric can play Quidditch without being one of those characters. Dinas isn't a player yet I can still play...

BUT if you do want to be one of those players, yes, you have to be one of the people in that list...

AND none of that matters, because Godric already decided and has been approved to be Lilly, the Gryffindor Keeper.

KO means Knock Out.
Sorry for the confusion.

Oh yeah, PITA, you are right. I saw what you meant. Anyone can play anyone as long as the characters are not owned, you don't even need to be the player itself.
