Riddle is trying to make a horcrux and Arsenio was asked to spy on him by Dumbledore, and he saw. Riddle pulled his wand on him and Arsenio decided to fight back by calling Dumbledore and then shooting off a disarming spell so... Riddle had to retreat or face getting caught.
Tom escaped with his not-yet-horcrux-but-almost diary. He was quite yet been able to get there, so he's going to go and ask Slughorn and see if he can get him to give him any information on them, because he figures he would know.
And Artus is a little broken-hearted, and trying to find the Matron because Arsenio's body collapsed because it was trying to tell him not to follow Riddle beause it remembered the dream Arsenio had about that same situation and Arsenio was killed.
Just.. join in whereever. That night is probably over for everyone except maybe Artus who's perhaps still wandering around looking for a teacher, and when he finds one I don't imagine they'll be very happy with him when he returns and finds no one there...
