Hey, everybody. I was looking through the RPG vault, and apparently, the longest RPG is Hogwarts 06/07, going at around 600 posts. I'd like to change that before I turn eighteen. So how about we make a goal that within the next three years, we make Next Generation 2 the longest RPG in Broomsticks and Owls history? Who's with me?

I'm sorry for being MIA for sooo long.
We should make the New Generation series a long one because our characters are so detailed! There are pasts and present we could start with our characters.

You're ALIVE!!! Just kidding, nice to see you at BaO again.

Anyway, yeah. Heck, Paul why don't you just make a subforum titled "Next Generation RPGs* because it could be a very long series. Really, I think it would be awesome if this series became as long as (if not longer) than the original Harry Potter Series. But in order for that to happen, we need people to post! Right now, in NG2, it wouldn't be appropriate timing for my character to post. Somebody else needs to.

Sorry for the double post.

I decided that I was going to start the new day. If anybody has any objections, feel free to trash it. But seeing as how nobody else is going to post, and the fact that everything for the day seems to be tied up and finished. I will start.

Okay, my post is bound to be mega-confusing, as the BBcode is off and therefore I couldn't italisize Valencia's thoughts. I'll edit it once the BBcode is back on.

In case, anyone mentions about healing Nikolaus, there will be a long scar resulting from the mirror shard cut (possible effect from an ancient magical object?)

It would probably serve as a reminder or maybe may play a part in future plot. And no one else except Geneve and Nikolaus know that the resulting cut was due to a shattered Mirror of Erised, so Geneve would probably lie to the rest about how Nikolaus got a deep cut, esp to Valencia since she had previously seen them together.

okay so my last post I gave valencia SOME of the truth, but ultimately it was intended to seal Nikolaus's doom and have him sent away from Hogwarts. I expect when Valencia puts two and two together, she will realise it was the mirror of erised that was destroyed, or at least someone will figure it out. I haven't chatted to Choki about it yet, but I was hoping to organise Geneve to see him outside of Hogwarts, sneaky like (Sirius and Harry style.. ) maybe on school break. They could correspond, and she could express her concerns about Gwydion and about other things as the plots thicken. Then, when all hell breaks loose with the Sadist Wizards arriving, he could return. I the mean time he could begin tracking the gang, or do some expeditions of his own, personal journey. We were talking about how the mirror of Erised has sent people mad before, and perhaps Nik will find himself in a similar situation; torn between the dark and light side of his life. I personally think Valencia loves him, and she wants to save him, but she knows he needs to figure it out for himself.

Bottom line... I was thinking it really is time to get to class, and quidditch, and just general school stuff! Does everyone else agree? By sending Nik away, Geneve will be forced to be an 11 year old again, and get down to her studies.

so... what do u think? It's up to Fawkes and Choki to set it in motion anyway.. one way or the other.

thanks for listening! :)

I agree. And as for people leaving the school, I think that Damien will be forced to leave for a while once they defeat Neko, as she's bound to kill at least one student, and probably even more (notice how easily I have people killed?). Then, maybe Damien will come back to fight Inu because he's taken somebody hostage.

I agree that Nikolaus can be sent away or leave on his own accord... I was hoping for a showdown though, between Damien and Nikolaus when they found out abt the dark magic teaching... But this could happen after Nikolaus left the school (i.e through secret meet-ups)

Abt Neko being the new transfiguration teacher at Hogwarts, I think she should stay there as a spy until the arrival of the remaining 4 wizards. Afterall, they are not going to take Hogwarts or Damien lightly. Maybe Neko could do something in the school to her advantage, maybe throwing the school to confusion so when the gang comes, it would be easy to exact revenge on Damien.

Or maybe she could sabotage Damien, isolating him from the rest?

I think she'd probably sabotage him while the others arrived. Or maybe the others are simply waiting in the forest, waiting for when Damien is weakened? Hmmmm, I think that Damien will flee after they fend off the first attack by them, possibly to his favorite tree in Japan. That's possibly where he could encounter Kaba, and he could possibly lose, then somebody could show up and save him, and the person defeats or kills (I'm not sure... I really want Kaba to turn good) Kaba. Maybe it could even be Nikolaus, which patches up their relationship. I don't know... I'm rambling.

But let's not forget Geneve's role in all of this. The Sadistic Six might actually use her, thanks to her dark magic knowledge.

I'm going to respond to this quote first....

Yes, a showdown should definately happen between them! Nikolaus will be struggling over the next while which way he should go - to darkness or good? Will he try to make it up to Valencia? Will he succeed in having the family he caught a glimse of in the mirror of erised? (Can you hear the movie voice over, hahaha)

"Abt Neko being the new transfiguration teacher at Hogwarts, I think she should stay there as a spy until the arrival of the remaining 4 wizards. "

I love this and think that Neko should lay low. I believe she is a spy, much like madeye was (or the guy that took over his identity) She is biding her time, watching Damien. Then she notices Geneve too, and reports back to Inu that she would be a powerful addition to their group? Maybe the 'sixth'? Here's an idea too....I think as well, MAYBE their goal is to not kill Damien, but to try to sway him back to their group? Maybe they did get bound in the end (as in Six Wizards) and go mad without each other? Damien obviously found a way to force them out of his subconscious with either a potion or meditation. The only way for the others to exists without each other is if that someone is dead. Ouki wants to sway Damien back because she's in love with him and she is connected deeply because of the pact. But when he won't, she might not like to live with that, and either trys to kill him or kills herself. Maybe Damien offers her the option of running away with him, because the two of them are all that matters. I can imagine the tree scene; she apparates back, tracing his tracks and finds him up there. She calls him a coward for leaving Hogwarts, a b*****d for never allowing himself to be loyal to anyone, a liar for ever telling her he loved her. They could have a battle, and Ouki could fall from the tree, breaking her neck. Damien tries to save her with every potion he has in his cloak, but nothing works. She lays limp in his arms, as beautiful as ever. He returns to Hogwarts, ready for blood. He seeks out Inu, and they have their epic battle. He fights him for forcing the pact on them all, he fights him not setting them all free when they had the chance for real lives, he fights him and wants to kill him because he wants to erase the image of the boy he was those years ago - a monster, with no where to return to, no way to turn back. Damien wants to erase the past, but it will never be erased. He has skeletons in his closet, and he will either die trying to clear them or wind up with nothing. If he doesn't die, he will have to start again. I think he might go rogue, like Nikolaus did. But I believe he is committed to the ministry, and to spending the rest of his life stopping others from making the same mistakes he did. As a kind of penance.. (if that's the word.)

Still... it's only a rpg.. It can have a happy ending if you like, but I'm so inclined to having sad endings because they are such a good read. (eg... HARRY POTTER!)

We'll see how it pans out when Ouki and Damien have their duel, Salemboy. Maybe something you say can make her change her mind... hee hee... (a challenge!!! Get ready for some serious literary composition when the time comes.....)

Confusion, panic, death. Yeah, it'll almost be like old times, except Damien will be trying to stop it. How will Geneve respond to the Sadistic Six? How will Valencia and Galena respond? Nikolaus? Will he and Damien put aside their differences and fight them? I guess so. I think it should be Nikolaus who should kill Buta (he will indeed die, no doubt). Who will handle Neko though? And what part will Gwydion play in this? Will he help the Sadistic Six, or will he fight them to keep his cover.

But, as for Damien, I think that in the end, he will take the pact. He will probably have cleared himself from his pain through meditation. I had been thinking that Damien will offer Ouki a way out, whether or not she accepts I'm not sure. If Damien asks her, it has to be before the fight. She'll express that she wants to, but can't because she still has to stay with Inu. So, they fight. Damien will win, knock her out. Then he'll go kill Inu, return to her, tell her that she's free, then they'll live together in the tree. Damien will retire, because, well... he's getting old.

Second scenario. Ouki will refuse the way out, for the same reason. They'll fight, she'll break her neck as Distortia said, die, and Damien will go after Inu for blood, and it will be a long, drawn-out epic battle. Damien and Inu will both die, effectively putting an end to the Sadistic Six. Either way, the fight with Inu will be the last stage of Damien's penance (that is the correct word).

I'll flip a coin over it.

Ok, I just flipped my coin (I'm not lying, I actually flipped a coin, "Heads Ouki lives, Tails she dies"). I got heads. Ouki's going to live. I'm not lying though. I just truthfully flipped a coin. I can't prove it to you guys, but I really flipped a coin. It was chance. I'm not trying to make an excuse for Ouki to live, I really flipped a coin over it.

hahaha!!! you are so funny, I love it! How amusing... the author has chosen to let her live. So be it! It's like when JK decided to let one character live but another would die. You have to decide, no matter the reason. So..... I think I will write a quick scenario and see what you all think!

Damien shot spell after spell at Ouki, trying to disarm her. They danced around the great hall, deflecting and casting. Damien advanced, and Ouki started backing up the stairs. "Give up, Ouki, and I won't let them kill you!" Damien yelled. The spells continued. "You have a choice! Stop this and I can get you out of here, I will hide you!"
"I've never had a choice, Damien!" Ouki yelled back, ducking behind the first floor entrance archway. She stayed hidden and the spells stopped for a moment. Ouki put her head against the stone, trying to grind the memory out. "I've always been a monster. But I thought I could rise above that.. when I thought we had a chance!" She yelled out, firing another spell around the corner. It hit a suit of armour, which went crashing down the stairs. "Then you betrayed me, and left me to rot in jail. KNOWING how much a I loved you and how much the pact would make it impossible for me to forget you! I am insane without you, Damien!" her voice broke. She started to cry, her sobs echoed in the quiet. Then she lifted her head. "Damien?" she called out.
"Yes." he was right behind her. She tried to raise her wand but he grabbed both her wrists and pressed her against the wall. Before she could protest he was kissing her as hard as he could, and she kissed him back. He let go of her hands and they flew up into his hair. Then the kiss broke off, and Ouki started pounding her fists on his chest.
"You b*****d!!! I hate you! Inu wants you dead!!! But if you die, I feel like.. I feel like I'll die but I can't live with what you've done to me... I...." Damien let her hit him, but then he grabbed her wrists once more and pulled her close to him. Hugging her.
"I'm so sorry." he whispered into her hair. And he apparated, taking her with him.

"They arrived in a place that was miles away from Hogwarts. Ouki recognised it immediately. It was the forest Damien had taken her to those years ago. And they were right at the top of one of the tallest of them; in the distance the sky was red with the sunrise. Damien held her close, securing her.
"I can teach you now to move passed the pact. To live beyond the pain that binds us all together. I come here often, to meditate. Everyone has a place where they are free." he spoke into Ouki's ear. "We can escape them. You can run away with me."
Ouki pulled back and looked into Damien's face. "You would run away? Leave what you left me for in the first place - a chance to do what's right? And what about my chance? I would be a fugitive. We could never have a real life."
"It would be real enough. All we need is each other. And we could have a family." Damien said this with feeling.
"But you have to help them... the ones that Inu is fighting now. And the girl. He means to make her the sixth!" Ouki confessed.
"What?!" Damien demanded. He let Ouki go and she held onto the limb they were on.
"It has to be six, Damien. " Ouki explained. "We did not come to avenge ourselves, we came because we each are mad without you. And if we cannot sway you to return, Inu has ordered that you die, and he will replace you with the girl.
"Geneve.." Damien whispered.

**********************************

Geneve found herself deeper in the Forbidden Forest than she had ever been before, and it was so dark and terrifying. She held her wand in lumus in front of her. She had been chasing Inu as he retreated into the trees, and she found herself a fool. He had led her into a trap. Now she had no visibility; he was at the advantage. She knew he watched her.
"Come out!!!" she screamed. He voice echoed into the forest. Some growling and rustling answered back. Geneve shivered. Her shoulder was badly cut, and exposed. Her ribs and back hurt from being thrown to the floor during her duel with Inu. Everyone had been evacuated now, but Geneve had stayed behind, compelled to see if she could handle this amazing dark wizard. A true test of her power. Wouldn't Nikolaus be proud if she could prove worthy enough to defeat Chi Inu. Suddenly Genve's thoughts were interupted but hot breath on her neck, followed by a blunt object poking her in the back. Her head wrenched back as her hair was pulled.
"Ow!!! " Geneve yelled. Inu had her right where he wanted her.
"Hello dark little princess...." Inu hissed into her ear. "Drop your wand. Now!" he said, poking the wand into her back again. Geneve let go of her wand and let it drop to her feet.
"Good girl. Now kneel!" he said, and dragged her to the ground so she was forced to sit on her knees. He crawled around until he could look her in the face. His wand was still at the ready, but he reached for something else with his left hand. Out of his cloak, he revealed a small but very sharp and shiny dagger. He held it out, twisting it in his hand.
"I don't need your consent to bind you, by the way." he said. And he shot her with a spell to control her. Of course Geneve's training made her easily shake it off. So he instead used brute force. He pushed her to the ground and climbed on top of her. He pinned one arm down with his leg, and the other he held out, pulling up Geneve's sleeve to reveal her forearm.
"This is going to feel a little... weird." he said. And he pressed the blade into her arm, running a think cut from her elbow to her wrist. Blood pooled and ran off the sides of her arm onto the forest floor. Geneve screamed.
"NO! Inu stop this NOW!" Damien was there; and with him was Nikolaus. Inu looked back and saw the two wizards with their wands on him.

(and the rest of course is the epic battle of the werewolves... hee hee... ) hmmm... perhaps this MAY need to be moved to Fan Fiction.. but I still wanted to share.

Darn it.. very soon I will be flat out studying for my last exam, preparing and reading and doing writing for my Action learning project, planning for my maths prac and then planning for my profesional internship. So if I go quiet for a while... well................................................................

don't give up on me! lol!

xx
