Can I suggest that we move things along and start another chapter? Lets' see, we're still in September, so maybe we can move ahead to Halloween? We can say that classes are well underway, the Transfiguration teaching postion has been filled (unknowingly by Neko, but mascarading as someone who was coming to apply for the job) and Geneve and Nikolaus have been doing their secret training in the protected corridor. This way we can let Nik and ....(omg what's Fawkes characters name... ummmmmmmm I'm still nto sleepping lately guys...) can have it out, Damien and Nikolaus can come to an "agree to disagree' truce, and some serious stuff can start happening with regards to the sadist six desending upon Hogwarts?
Just an idea... otherwise we're going to be stuck in one day for ever!
Ok for example....
"October crept up on everyone like only a day had passed. All teaching positions had been filled thanks to the ministry sending a graduate student from England's Wizard Teaching College for the Transfiguration job. She was very good too, and the students seemed to like her very much. Geneve was enjoying her classes, and she was so glad the Headmistress had allowed Nikolaus to stay in spite of his not having an official teaching role. He was helping her a great deal as they trained in secret at least three times a week. Her cat, who she had rescued from the near starvation, was now quite big and stocky. He followed her around like a shadow, and she was glad for it. She still felt very alone among all the people who seemed to have found friends and something in common with each other. Geneve had too much darkness inside her to relate to anyone. Nikolaus had a wealth of knowledge about dark magic, and Damien, her defense against the dark arts teacher, knew a great deal about how it worked and what to do to defeat it and she was grateful for what they both taught her.
The whole school was decorated for Halloween. Hagrid had really gone all out this year, people were saying. There were Jack-o-lanterns lining cooridors and fake spiders and bats with enchantments on them to move when people got near them. Peeves was having the time of his life, or death as it were, finding new ways to scare students as they walked around. He especially loved it when there was carnage such as scattered books, smashed glass or splattered food. On this particular night Geneve was walking to dinner when she passed the Transfiguration classroom to find her cat wondering out of it. She crouched down and picked him up, then pushed the door open a bit to see what he had been up to.
"Is there food in here? You little sneak, I give you plenty, I was just going to the great hall now to... oh!" Geneve dropped her cat and backed against the wall, covering her mouth in fear that if she uttered a sound, she would definately give herself away..."
lol... then someone else can write and either be in there, somewhere else or whatever!
