Eh, Galena won't hire a fugitive in disguise if she fires Nikolaus. She'll be more vigilant after that and may even go back to teaching Transfiguration herself.

its a fun possibility to toy with, though. what if one of the dark wizards uses some polyjuice and comes as a student?

nice idea of polyjuice is great.
Since Galena had already placed an ad for transfiguration post (in the daily prophet or something), one of the killer (i m not sure which one Damien prefers) can come disguise as a wizard for the interview, making use of this chance to hunt down Damien?

and in the confusion and distrust'?', Galena decided to hire Nikolaus who showed his capability to protect the students?
just an idea though

Since when was my username Damien? Anyway, I like that. It'll be like book four, except I'm thinking the interview takes longer than expected, the potion wears off, and with the baddie's cover blown, he/she has to fight her way out. I'm thinking Nagai Neko, seeing as how cats are very stealthy animals, I think she'll be perfect for this scenario.

so the character you mentioned is like McGonnagal, and can transform into a cat? cool! So this will all happen at an interview for the teaching position, and Nikolaus won't get the job after all?

I'm liking the plot with the polyjuice potion... yay JK for such fun ideas to build on!

Sorry for double post, but I would like to suggest inviting Duckie and Fawkes friend.. Oblig.... I can't remember how to spell it! To be our disguised student who is actually one of the six wizards? She could then befriend Geneve or something?

oh i'm not sure if Nagai Neko (neko=cat in japanese) is an animagus, but she certainly will behave as sneaky/stealthy like a cat. Think that is what salemboy wanted?

Been wondering if it is good for her to get the Transfiguration job first? or do you guys prefer Nikolaus to get the job so he could end up betraying Galena's trust (prolly it will only be redeemed towards the end)

Pros of Neko getting the job
1) she can inflitrate Hogwarts to aid their gang
2) she can irritate the hell out of Damien who has no idea who she is (replacing the planned rivalry head of Gryffindor vs Slytherin)
3) she can try to seduce Nikolaus and causing further strain in his relation with Valencia
4) that will settle one out of the 5 killers (vast storyline to explore)

Cons -
1) who will play her? *QA is currently planning to play Nagai Neko in the Sadistic Six RPG at the other RPG section though*
2) where will Nikolaus go from here, seeing he has no reason to stay at Hogwarts, esp after the soon-to-be big row with Valencia*looking forward* (but I can come out with some reasons for Nikolaus to return to Germany where he will prolly search for his connection with Grindelwald or something cheesy, it is time for Nikolaus to take a step behind)

Pros of Nikolaus getting the job
1) rivalry with Damien (Gryffindor vs Slytherin), that means more fighting, girls! And I keep having this feeling Damien is gonna chew on him
2) establishing contact with Geneve (hence easier to teach her) but it can be done without Nikolaus actually staying at Hogwarts as he can apparate to Hogsmeade and make his way to the forbidden forest secretly
3) the ultimatum betrayal to Galena (Lightning flash, thunder roar. Tada! see above) but he can do that without becoming the teacher? Although I would say the impact of being a teacher is greater, someone whom Galena had trusted
4) u will get to see more of your favourite character, Nikolaus (who doesn't?) *gets stoned by the rest*

Cons -
1) Neko will be a good villain if she gets to be the transfiguration teacher
2) everyone will get irritated by Nikolaus (now that is highly plausible as seen in the previous events LOL)

AND!!!
What will Gwydion MacCallum do?

Heh heh heh, what will I be doing indeed? I'm still suitably mysterious, contrary and I've just scared Geneve! A scaring before breakfast is a wonderful thing. :evil grin:

As far as Nagai Neko goes, if I finish working up a character sheet then I wouldn't mind playing the two characters in this RPG- but I'm just as happy for someone else to play her, or we could just have her as a miscellaneous character who we can all use at will like the canon characters.

I vote we have Nikolaus teach first. That way he can stay at the castle and keep teaching Geneve.

I'm happy with whatever you guys do to Nagai Neko. Just as long as you realize that in NG2, she'll be in her forties, and that it stays true to how QA describes her in the Sadistic Six. Also, I meant stealthy, not actually being able to change into a cat, unless you guys want it to be that way, but I'm thinky just very powerful in the stealth department.

oh before anyone would think we hijacked each other's characters, QA(Gwydion) and me(Nikolaus), the posts made by the 2 of us, were discussed together through MSN.

Never crossed my mind, quite literally. I haven't been on enough RPG's to know what hijacking really is.
