I made up the robe colours... hope everyone likes them  . Black and gold as general school colours, though the house colours can't be ignored, can they! :-)

Spent a wee bit of time coming up with all the competing schools. Bestia del Cielo (Beast of Heaven) is a Spanish magical private school, and Schicksal von Magie is a German school... it means Destiny of Magic or something. Washington House and East Coast College are both American, Melbourne Academy is a well-respected Pacific school in Australia, whereas Cook's College is a slightly less prestigious but famed Quidditch school in the South Island of New Zealand. Istituto De Roma is the oldest and most wealthy magical academy in the world, built by the ancient Romans in the centre of the city. The Tokyo Institute qualified as the only Asian team in the Tournament, as the sport is still quite young there. They are seeded last in the Tournament, as they were given a 530-20 point drubbing by East Coast College in a tour they took last year. Sport is not something Beauxbatons regards as their primary activity, but they are still seeded 5th as their team is supposedly of a higher than usual standard in 2007.

That was a tournament they won't forget for a very long time. But there are still a couple of things that need to happen, yet.

So, who does everyone want to die.
The Hogwarts Quidditch Squad:
[to compete in the Interschool Tournament 2007]

Chaser: Mortin (C.)(Slytherin)
Chaser: McKay (Slytherin)
Chaser: Edwards (Ravenclaw)
R-Chaser: Little (Ravenclaw)
Beater: Burns (Gryffindor)
Beater: Flint (Slytherin)
R-Beater: Ferris (Slytherin)
Keeper: Warrington (Slytherin)
R-Keeper: MacGranstan (Gryffindor)
Seeker: Sharpe (Slytherin)
R-Seeker: Araneorum (Gryffindor)

Of course I prefer Mortin but that's just a little to neat for me. I guess I'll vote for Edwards.

I don't suppose I'm allowed to ask for Sharpe to be killed, am I? :evil grin:
I'd rather one of the Slytherins, but if they're all protected by Dinas or something then Edwards would be my next choice.

Don't worry all, there will be a sequel! There will have to be, considering there are no longer any active topics now that this one is done...

Seeing that 2007 was over, I think it might be good to wrap it up, and set it up for a sequel with Dinas having wormed his way to the top of the Ministry. You could, of course, choose to have the same characters, as the sequel might be set years and years into the future? How many, do you think? Rowena is only a first year, so it would have to be quite a few for her to be in a job. Anyway, this was a lot of fun to do, and I'm especially thrilled that someone has enjoyed reading it, eh!

Sharpe was always going to die, originally because I thought that it would give a chance for Rowena to play, but then (as I realised it would be more convenient to not have much Quidditch action) just because it felt okay for the story.

But now, debate can shift to the sequel! And because there are more active RPGers now, there can be more characters involved! Because obviously, it's difficult for newbies to just jump in and participate in the middle of an RPG. Godric did admirably, to be honest. Duckie, you're welcome to join in the sequel!

Now, we should start working out some details for this thing so that we can get it going asap. Because right now it's quite sad, there are no active Scenarios in the main forum. Hopefully when the DH Forum merges we can do our best to lift activity and reinvigorate this place.

Now, the sequel?

Wow. I can't believe it's over. Thanks PITA, for the compliment.
There isn't to much action going on in the DH RPGs, so it might stay about the same. But we can still hope!
I would say that we don't make the sequal more than five years into the future. That way, Rowena can still be in school- if Q wants to keep the same character- and we can have a look at how Dinas' changes are effecting Hogwarts.

A sequel would be brilliant. And I'm not fussed about how far in the future you want to make it- the way I pictured Rowena was that she would end up becoming a teacher at Hogwarts after her Seventh year. I'd be happy to play either her or a new character, or both ^_^

Anyways, well done us!

My thinking is that, historically, our RPGs work best when all our characters are around the same place. Hogwarts, obviously, is ideal for that... but it restricts our characters to professors and students, mainly.

Also, Dinas needs some time to enter politics and worm his way up, and further build on his public profile. To be honest, I think I would like a good solid period of about 6 or 7 years. That works well with Rowena too, she will have finished school by then.

So... Obviously Dinas being Minister, it could be set in the Ministry of Magic. But I get a feeling that that wouldn't really work for this, and Hogwarts is an environment with rituals that we're all familiar with, so I think that it should perhaps still be set there, years into the future.

That'll mean that I'll need to find a new character, because Dinas will no longer be at Hogwarts, so I'll need to think about that.

I think it should be about the effect on Hogwarts of Dinas' term in office, which will create a number of different plot ideas that are very Umbridge-esque in nature. But however bad Umbirdge was, Dinas is evil, and the main theme of it will be the way that evil will start creeping back into society as the prejudices of the public are once again exposed.

On reflection, I think our characters should (give or take one or two perhaps) be Hogwarts staff. I think it's an area that we could explore more, eg. that Hogwarts teachers have families too, and aren't always in the castle.

Yes, that's it. Now for a name.
