Don't worry too much. If your first language isn't English it's totally understandable if the grammar is bit unusual (hey, mine is often incorrect too) . The grammar rule basically exists as, for some odd reason, there are often people who seem to purposefully write in bad grammar (maybe not so much here at BaO, thankfully, but elsewhere it somethimes seems to happen). Just do the best you can and it'll be fine. :-)

Oh noooooo...Li'l monster had a temper tantrum about half an hour ago - I think she's tried to eat the Spring Dance! I'll see if I can get her to give it back.

Gaaaah...she tried to eat the pixies too! I've managed to get her to give the dance back and the pixies, but she'd already eaten the very latest postings today in those RPGs - really sorry about that

i think that thoughts should be underlined, so it'd be easier to distinguish from actual speech.

Hi there! I have a question. I would love to take part in the RPGs, but I saw that they are pretty deserted right now. Does it make sense to join if there`s noone playing? Or should I start my own RPG?

Starting up your own RPG is a great idea, just submit it to the mods, and if they approve they'll create a new topic for it.

All the current RPG's are kinda dead- it's probably partly to do with it being the summer hols and people being away etc. PLus we lost a few active members from the board, so thats affected it too!

It's not really.

Why don't you open a few and read some old posts. A good idea would be the Pixies on the Loose. Read some of the old posts in there, that'll give you an idea on what to do.

Announcement:

As of the re-re-opening of the RPG Forum here at BaO I will be issuing some new, more officialy rules. :-)

The old ones seem a little rough so eventually I will be getting around to starting a new Announcement thread with RPG Rules all set out and very clear about what will and what won't be tolerated here in this forum.

Thank you,

-TPR-

Also, suggestions of new rules in the New Rules Thread should probably be made here.
