Ron justified?

Postby Gower » Tuesday 9 December 2003 10:54:26pm

In the fourth book as we all know Ron fell out with Harry over Harry becoming a triwizard champion. Did you think this was justified? I thought it wasn't at that time, although I supppose generally it is hard for Ron being in Harry's shadow all the time.

ron is in everyone's shadow all the time...I mean, he has hundreds...i mean 5 older brothers and 3 of them managed to aquire all the possible big achievements at the school....and then his best friend can do it too..I'm not surprised he exploded eventually, I can actually understand that since my big sister is one of those brilliant students with 5 A's at higher level and a nice degree and so on.....but he has 3 of them to cope with and his 2 best friends heading in the same sickening direction....

True. But that´s why I think he must be really good at something we don´t know yet. In some other thread someone mentioned that Ron could be a seer but doesn´t know himself yet. I´m not sure about this, but I do think we´ll find out more about this in the next book.
HURRY J.K., I WANT THE NEXT BOOK!!!!!!!!

I think Ron is justified...I mean sometimes I get pretty frsutrated being best friends with the pretty girl that all the boys want and best friends with one of the smartest boys in school, while three of my other friends are the Valdevictorians and Salutitorian of my graduating class this year...talk about shadows...I mean it is really hard living in people's shadows, and I think Ron must have a hard time being in Harry and all of his brothers' shadows...a burst was bound to happen sometime, you know

I didn't think Ron was justified! he shouldn't understood and released that its not harry's fault he is who he is. this showed rons jealously more than everything

Ron takes things like family for granted, while its Harry's greatest wish to have his parents

Obviously no one could help feeling jealous when Harry gets the new brooms and fame

But the mirror in book 1 showed their differences in what they want

It always make things harder when Ron who is very poor aswell,

But in Harrys view hed rather have family and be poor than any possesion he owned

I think Ron was justified

Not all the time in the shadow of Harry, ame I correctly? But Ron's got hormones too... It's true that he get's all the things his brothers don't need anymore, but still... Ron, in his one way, take care of his self!

Harry appreciates Ron he just isn't very good at expressing it. I think the unspoken sometimes needs to be said and that would solve a lot of problems!! :-?
