Verdict Reached in JKR/WB vs. RDR/Steve Van der Ark

Postby DucksRMagical » Monday 8 September 2008 8:21:30pm

Judge Robert Patterson has ruled in favor of J.K. Rowling and Warner Brothers! The publishing of the HP Lexicon encyclopedia has been stopped. The full article can be read Here

I for one am happy with the verdict. Van der Ark shouldn't be able to make money off of Jo's work. I like his website and use it, but I wouldn't want him to publish a book.

Yay! Jo wins. I agree that if he were to publish it, 100% of the profit should go to Jo or a charity like Comic Relief. But it's not fair that he would be able to get rich because of what Jo did.
