JK'S future?

it really seems a shame she is stopping with the harry potter series. i wonder if she will write anything else, or will that be it?

I think she said she fancied doing something different and that she might write under another name. I can't remember though whether it was going to be for a younger audience or a more adult audience.

I wonder if she writes a completely new series under a different name if they would be as popular as HP or if they would be a complete flop? I also wonder if people would recognize her writing style?

I don't doubt a writer of her calibre will have had thousands of ideas, and she'll have scribbled many of the them on spare sheets of paper somewhere...

I've no doubt she'll continue to write and get published. Whether she uses a pseudonym or not I don't know... it depends I suppose on the publishers in part - they might want to profit more on the name.

My guess is that she won't use JK Rowling... it'll Jo Rowling or Joanne Rowling or something like that. So a little bit different.

I dunno she seemed quite determined that she wanted to be seen as a completely different author so as not to create extra pressure for herself and not to bias the audience. I think she had an idea for another series of books if I remember right, I think it was for a younger audience I just can't remember. I suppose adult audiences or those who have grown up with HP will expect and demand more.

Joanne Rowling might work better, be more subconsciously effective in having older people buy any new book she puts out for them...

Buuut unless she uses a real pseudonym everyone will know it's her anyway.

shes doing a adventure book, but i think that if who ever will continue the harry potter genre then they should get permision first and well i think it should be further adventures, but like stories about each character but in a adult form kind of thing which i will for sure read.

Just because she's done with Harry, that doesn't necessarily mean she's done with the wizarding world, right?

Se is writing a mystery novel, not much information has been released, but I know some people wont read it because most don't like mystery. I myself am not a mystery novel fan, but if it's written by JK Rowling, I'll give it a try.
I personally would not like anyone else other than Jo to write more of Harry Potter's world, she does it the best, and she created it, a the saying goes 'The writer with the quill, is like Posiedon to the sea'
Don't worry if you haven't heard it before, my crazy teacher made it up

i reckon that with permission from j.k another author should take the mantle of writing a few further harry potter adventures, like his aurour adventures or a different turn on the world but a more adult type thing.
