We don't exactly know how old her father is, so we don't know when he'll retire or move on.

Or she could move into a completely different field, who knows?

Oh, wouldn't it be awesome if she became Care of Magical Creatures teacher at Hogwarts  ?

She's going to be constantly teaching nonsense creatures like the Crumple-Horned Snorcack. It'd be hard to study creatures no books have been written about.

I don't think she would be too bad.

How can something be too fantasy for a fantasy novel?

Wouldn't is just be classic if we discovered that there really was such a thing as a crumple-horned snorcack? :D

That's been nagging at the back of my mind for a while, you'd think that'd be something J.K.R would do, seeing as she never puts in an uneeded detail.

I know, J.K.R seems to have put in a lot of time about the Crumple-Horned Snorckacks, she wouldn't just do that for comic relief.

Er, I think she might have. It sort of develops Luna's character, so I think she would.

But it's something I would definitely like to see.

Yes, but she's focusing in on the Crumple-Horned Snorckack.

Hmm, maybe you're right.

Regardless I think we both agree it would be great if it turned out that it does exist.

I think that at least at one stage we might think it exists...

Hm.... it just seems like the kind of thing J.K.R would do. I would think nothing of it if every time Luna spoke, she talked about a different animal, I would forget about it. She's reinforcing it. She wants us to remember it.

I think Harry and Luna would be the weirdest couple ever...but Luna and Neville will go well together.

What if she convinced Harry that the Crumple-Horned Snorckack was real, so they went on a misson to find it. :D
