i didn't especially mean a girl from ravenclaw, and i was talking about the way it could have happened more than the way he had planned it , but I get your point about the twenty-five friends, although the book would be much harder to write ...

She probably would have died and there would be not much point in writing any more books cos Harry and Ron would never have solved the mysteries.

i do believe that in the book it says something about how people cant not be friends after surviving a troll attack... so yes i agree with it being a blodd brother like thing, but if hermione hadnt been their now there wouldnt be half as many arguments for ron to get into now would there..... 8)
