What if Draco Malfoy had won the Felix Felicis? (sp?)

Harry would probably have not gotten the horcrux memory from Professor SLughorn....Draco would have figured the cabinet out sooner, and possible caused many more problems, including killing Dumbledore himself....The students who helped the Order at end probably would have died, including Ron, Ginny, and Neville.....things would look much worse for Harry in his upcoming battle against Lord Voldemort....

I'm actually inclined to believe that if Malfoy had won the Felix Felicis, then Dumbeldore wouldn't have been killed. Because Malfoy would have got the cabinet working sooner, so Dumbledore wouldn't be off his game and weakened by drinking the potion in The Cave, when the Death Eaters came.

So Dumbeldore wouldn't have been able to be killed... and Malfoy, by a funny twist of fate if he had take the Felix Felicis, the luck potion.. would have probably been killed by Voldemort or somethinf for failing.

Except of course that Snape made the Unbreakable Vow... so who knows what would have happened there? I imagine Snape would have been defeated by Dumbeldore at full strength.

So maybe, aside from that fact that all Harry's friends would be dead... it could've worked out a little positive.

Then Harry wouldnt get the horcrux (sp) and dumbledore knew he couldnt trust harry and dumbledore would go on his own and maybe he would live if harry did not go.maybe, maybe not . and then harry would cry when dumbledore if he did die, again, , because he would would think that if he went with him he wouldnt die.

And DD wouldn't have died because Malfoy would have gotten what he wanted because he didn't want to kill him.

I think that if Draco had won the Felix Felicis, Dumbledore would have choked to death in his office on a lemon drop. Harry would not have found out about horcrux's, and Slytherin would have won the Quiddich cup.

So Dumbeldore wouldn't have been able to be killed...[/quote] Well not necessarily true, because if he finished the cabinet sooner, it still would be smarter to wait until Dumbledore leaved the castle with Harry.

I think that dumbledore would not have been killed even if Draco had waited until he had left because dumbledore would have been at full strength

But if Draco had waited until Dumbledore left the castle, then Harry's friends would be dead because Harry gave them the Felix Felicis to help them avoid 'spells/curses'.
