Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

I'm re-reading the first book now. When DD leaves the Privet Drive in Ch. 1 there is no noise at all. Shouldn't Apparitions be noisy?

What about the loud crack when Dung Disappartes in OotP?
and how do we even know that DD disapparated? He is Dumbledore, after-all.

Yes, he probably either so powerful he can do it quiet or he uses some additional spells! But in book 6 when he took Harry to Slughorn, wasn't there some noise too? I can't remember!

Yeah. I think that there was some noise, but that might have been because Harry was there.

I imagine apparating with Harry caused extra noise. Just makes sense, 2 people traveling instead of 1.

I believe that the sound produced when aparating or disaparating is caused by the sudden displacement of air that occurs when someone comes in or out of existence in a certain place, similar to the way lightning makes thunder. Dumbledor probobly used some additional spell to muffle this sound.

Yeah that's a good theory actually. Probably right, and Dumbledore would know how to muffle the sound if he wanted.
