Which character would you give the resurrection stone?

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

Dennis Creevey. Colin had always loved Harry, and he wanted to fight, but he was not old enough or had enough skill.

I'd give it to noone because it would be torture for the person as it was for the original brother, the person they recalled would never really be all there and eventually they would kill themselves in order to join the person correctly. It would give noone joy, they are better off burying their dead and saying goodbye not trying to bring them back.

I would also want nobody to have it. The whole point of the stone was to indicate that death is something to be faced and accepted. Living with a ghost, which is what it essentially would be, wouldn't allow them to move on with their lives.

Fred died a hero's death, and I would like to think that George carried on the joke shop to keep their dream alive. I wouldn't want him spending all his time joking about with a Fred-echo.

It would be a bit weird for whoever got it too because the people Harry brought back told him that only he could see them as they were part of him....so if you bought back fred because you couldn't bear to loose him then only you could see him and to the rest of the world you'd be talking to yourself all the time, you'd probably be sent to err...the hospital that I forgot the name of and pronounced mad....

I wouldn't choose to give it to anyone, but if I HAD to I would give it to George. At least the twins are more apt to joke about things.. even though joking about death would be kindof tasteless I suppose. Poor George, he must be devasted without his other 'half' so to speak. I wonder what he does with their business.

I believe it's best out in the forest, but if it had to go to someone,.....Harry. Harry should have it because he wouldn't use it.

Yeah, but they'll (like LV) won't know what it is. And it's broken, dirty, and who knows? It may be buried or swallowed.

Unless the reason they are out in the middle of the forest is because they are sad and depressed because of a lost loved one and they pick up a random stone and start playing with it and turning it whilst thinking about their loved one... Could happen.

I think someone's gonna find it too. Makes me think that JKR had it left out in the forest for a reason. It would be a great part of the plot if she were to write another. But that's probably just wishful thinking on my part.

I would give it to little Teddy Lupin. But give it to him when he turned eleven and let him figure out what it was on his own and once he had, warn him about it and the trouble that it may cause.

I think harry should keep them in a safe place within hogwarts, but def agree leaving it out there could mean it will be included in another book, bring back the shadow of Vol and he could train another dark lord. Maybe his and bellatrix's love child
