yeah, first a quick visit at the dursleys, then to the burrow for the wedding

i don't think he'll go into hidding, the quicker he gets rid of voldie the sooner he can get on with life
he'll probably lose (more) people he loves unless he can end the war soon

hmm, i wonder if i'm making much sense here

I think he'll be searching the horcruxes. Even if he has to go to the Dursley's before the 31st of July, and even if he's going to the wedding. He'll be thinking about possible places, about things he has to do. I can even picture him walking out of the wedding for a news he finds out or something. Though that would be rude :D

If I had to guess I would say:

1. Privet Drive: For protection
2. The Burrow: For the wedding
3. Godric's Hollow: See his folk's graves
4. Hogwarts: See Slughorn about Horcruxes and maybe the CoS too
5. Lives in the Shrieking shack: Base of operations for the trio, whilst searching for Horcruxes at:
--The Black's House (the locket)
--The Orphanage
--The Malfoy's House
--Albainia
6. Voldemort's Lair

Why there? Could you please elaborate?

I don't think there's any horcruxes hiding here. Then again... I might be mistaking...
*waiting for an argument*

*and while waiting...*
I doubt the orphanage because it's a place Lord Voldemort must have hated a lot. So why would he want to put a bit of his soul there? It's like asking Harry to live for every summer of his life with the Dursleys. LV colected trophies. I doubt there was any victory for him at the orphanage.

As for the Malfoy's house... I don't know why... I just don't think so... Maybe he'll go there... But it might just be for something connected to Draco or somethin'.

Just a whimsical guess. I do think that Voldemort may have given a few more of his horcruxes to his 'most trusted' to hide (as with Malfoy and the diary). Thinking about it, maybe Voldemort got RAB to hide and guard his locket in the cave in the first place. I still hope his trophy for services to the school comes into it somehow.

Anyway, the horcruxes could be in places as yet unwritten, but it's harder to guess those ;)

Also, as it will be the last book, I am of the opinion that JKR will want as much closure as possible so rather than spending time developing too many new places I think she may reuse some older haunts.

I'd like her to visit Azkaban as well. Something taken and hidden there by a loyal deatheater perhaps?

I don’t think Voldemort would not hide anything in the Orphanage as he despised the Place and therefore in my opinion would not find the place worthy enough to hide an object of such value there.

Maybe Bellatrix has hidden something there. She said the Lord has trusted her with a very important secret...or maybe even more... And she has been in Askaban for the last years... Or even Sirius could have hidden something there. Just that I can't picture what it could be or why... Cause he would have probably mentioned it.

I don't think any of the DE's know about LV's horcruxes. I thought that she was entrusted with something important, but not that important.

I gotta agree with Asphodel. The horcruxes are safe only for so long as they're concealed. Dictators are paranoid, not only that there'll be a popular rebellion but also that there'll be some kind of general's coup. For a DE to know of the existance of a horcrux, let alone where or what or how many, is a major sword to be dangling above Voldemorts head. Voldemort wouldn't take the risk.
