Hermione is a werewolf

Postby Bextra » Tuesday 19 April 2005 5:53:30am

I think that Hermione Granger is a werewolf, because you remember when Professer Snape asks about werewolfs in the 3rd book? And Hermione says they only answer to their own calls and then when she and Harry do the timeturner thing she does the werewolf call and then Lupin runs away. Thats why Hermione is a werewlofe.

An interesting theory, but apart from Lupin she hasn't had any exposure to werewolves, so she couldn't have gotten a bite form any of them. She was brought up in the muggle world remember.
I don't really think that's gonna be a twist...
I think this should be in the Theories section as well, could a mod move it?

Well, she was the only one to actually do Snape's essay and thus find out about Lupin, wasn't she? It's very likely that she's read a lot about werewolves and therefore knew about the call thing.

Plus, theres the fact that the third movie is complete bastardization of the books and any sense of continuity and consitancy goes out the window in the place of the all important special effect

That was my thought, does she actually do the werewolf call in the book, I don't beleive she does because Sirius fights him and he runs into the forbidden forest and then the dementors get Harry and Sirius while they are trying to find Peter....

I don't think she is. I think she knows so much about him because its Hermione. She did her homework when Snape taught them class.

A ha! Thats the best answer yet and so obvious too...why didn't I think of that. I think that answers the question without any doubt at all because even if she had been taking the potion they used on lupin she still would have taken wolf shape and got a reaction out of Harry and Ron despite all the other stuff that was happening.

Human nature doesn't look at the simple answers. It's why people don't get certain plays in semantics.

heres way to prove it:

I am more powerful than god, more evil than the devil, rich people need me, poor people have me and if you eat me, you die. what am I?

Yeah nothing. There are so many of those things that you struggle to figure out and then kick yourself when you finally find out and they're so obvious. Though I didn't do it on this occasion, I already knew the answer as well.
