It's quiet interesting that despite two completely incompetent teachers (Lockhart and Umbridge), Harry is likely to get an O on his DADA OWL. Not much was ever said about Quirrel, but Lupin taught him a great deal, and Barty Crouch, Jr. (disquised as Moody) probably taught him more than he ever intended to (particularly since the skills he taught Harry were used against his boss, particularly shaking off the imperious curse). Even Snape taught him Expelliarmus. Of course, he also has a life experience in actually doing it, fighting Voldemort, dementors, and a whole mess of creatures in the triwizard tournament...

This cracked me up, too ...along with several other quotes! What made it even funnier for me was I immediately imagined Alan Rickman (who plays Snape in the movies) saying that to Daniel Radcliffe in his usual, deep, droll voice. He (Rickman) was so wonderfully cast as Snape!
