Hippogriffs or Unicorns?

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

I think that it's hard to choose between unicorns and hippogriffs 'cause they're really different: unicorns are all pure and innocent and hippogriffs are more, I don't know...I can't explain what I mean. Ive always loved unicorns, so I guess they win

Out of werewolves or vampires, I guess vampires becuase I love the book Dracula and werewolves are just really scary...then again, Lupin is awesome, and he's a werewolf...

Anyway, my favorite mythical creatures are probably still centaurs and winged horses, and I also like dragons. And those nifflers are so cute!

And flobberworms! (j/k, lol)

Unicorns, I guess, but I really love Hippogriffs too. But we need more of a variety--what about Phoenix? :) I thought Fawkes was so lovely on the movie! Lovely, lovely bird.

I preffer Hippogriffs over Unicorns.

Wow, the posts at the start of this thread sure are old. They date all the way back to 1970!

oh my god, too much choice, can't make up my mind.....

well love unicorns obviously (wish they were real :( )

umm think hippogriffs are cool, but prefer unicorns

and well dragons rock!!!! the more dangerous the better

and i prefer vampires to werewolves. do you not think there is something so sexy about vampires? *looks into distance and dreams awith a slight smile on her face* like i mean throughout buffy, i was torn, spike or angel. both are hotttttt.... and in interview with a vampire? brad pitt and tom cruise as vamps? oohhhh. sorry but vampires are always so hot!! they can suck on my neck any day..... :D which is where is comes crashing down snape can't be a vampire. not hot enough, end of story and also that would ruin my whole hot vampire theory.

but people we are forgettinga wonderful, cool creature. the thestral!!

thestrals kick ass! they can fly they have a cool morbid death thing going on and they aren't squeaky clean pure goodness like unicorns (if you don't prefer unicorns cos they're too good). they're the cool bad ass big brother of pegasus/unicorns.

Thestral -it wasn't until quite recently (comparitively) that vampires became "sexy". In all the old folklore they were always depicted as hidous, ugly, foul monsters. Bram Stoker was one of the first people to popularize vampires. If you read Dracula, the guy was a decripit old wrinked man who gradually became younger as he fed off people.

Some of the old vampire movies are pretty cool. Has anyone seen Nosferatu? That is one freaky vampire! Scared the hell out of me.

I think Ann Rice was the first one to popularize the "sexy/tragic/goth vampire". I havn't read any of the books yet, but I've been meaning to.

I'm not sure which I preffer out of vampires and werewolves. They can both be cool in thier own way. Although if I had to choose, I think I'd go for werewolves, because most of the modern vampires have been far too whiney for my tastes. IMO most movie werewolves are much scarier than most (modern) vampires.

there are 2 movies based on the chronicles: interview with the vampire and queen of the damned
and sorry tom cruise, but you sucked as lestat. stuard townsend on the other hand, wauw

ok, if i have to choose between unicorns and hippogriffs, i think i prefer hippogriffs

vampires or werewolves, vampires obviously

unfortunatly i haven't got round to reading bram stoker's dracula as yet, but i will it's been on the list for a while. but yes nightcrawler i always was aware that they weren't meant to be hot(being all gross and wrinkly and dead and what not...), but there's was something about their bad-ass thang that always drove me crazy (no emoticon for drooling...)

and selene ohhhhh stuart townsend....(i need drooling emoticon now!!!!) but overall the film was cr*p, but i watched it twice just for him... ahhhh. and tom cruise was terrible but no more terrible than he usually is  anyway first and only time i fancied tom cruise cos he had long hair and was a vampire...vampires are great..... and hotttttttttttttt. did i mention i love vampires cos they're hottttttttttt...... *drooling, drooling*
