8th book.

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

Read Time magazine's interview with her. She says that she'll be sorry to let Harry go, but that it'll leave her more time for her family.

She will be letting him go. We will have to as well.

Nah he's gone. She's raised her readers with her, keeping the books level with the maturity of her fans as they grow older too. By leaving a break it would disrupt that.

I think it started off like that, as you can tell by the way they now release two types of the book! its a gripping story that unless Harry dies young children will be reading for years to come and i dont think HP is just a hypr thing and after the 7th book the bubble will burst it has more depth than that. Thats y i think she'll do a couple more or at the very least commision an author she has selected and just hold editorial rights to the book they develope!

i hope so even if they are just charity books, just so we aren't left with nothing more to read in the wizarding world, i can't deal with the thought of them ending... we need more!!!!

i dont think that she will write an 8th book, just that the 7th will be very long to answer all our unanswered questions. It may be hard for all of us to admit but after the next book there will be no more harry potter *tear*

She can't possibly answer everything. Us fans have questions that may not relate to the plot at all, so she doesn't bother to answer them. She has said, though, that after book seven she'll keep her website up to answer those types of questions, like what color are Ron's eyes? (Blue)

Check out the three part interview on mugglenet.com. It talks about those sorts of questions, the website, and lots of other interesting clues about book 7.
