Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

on her site, jkr confirmed that the title of book 6 is hbp. she also said that the hbp is not harry or voldemort. for more info go to her site and read what she said :D

i'm so excited!!!

this most likely means that harry potter and the half blood prince is at most a year away from release, since we knew the title of OotP a year before its release date.

when you get to the brick wall, start clicking around on the bricks and you'll find five that disappear. there is a certain order in which you have to click the bricks, then the wall will disappear. i won't post the order of the bricks in case you want to try to get it on your own, but if you want to know the order ask me and i'll tell you.

and actually athena mark evans is who i think the half blood prince might be. of course there are so many possibilities, but he's a prime candidate :D

i'm not sure the hbp can be mark evans. because JK says that it was a possible title for CoS. Mark Evans wasn't around then, we didn't know of his exhistance anyway.

good point phaerie, i didn't even think about that. it might even be someone we don't even know about yet, b/c that's how it has been in the other books, we haven't really known much about the significance of the title. for example, we had heard of sirius before poa, but we didn't know that he was the prisoner of azkaban.

Yeah, thats true. Also, dont you think its a bit late in the series for JKR to introduce another major character? Does anyone know if Dumbledore is a half blood? Its a possibility...The one REALLY good thing about this title is that it doesnt refer to Neville! Hes a pure blood! Sorry, but im fed up with people who think the prophecy refers to him...its Harry!

Um....I was thinking Voldermort, but JKR is now saying that it's neither Voldermort or Harry. But what if it's Tom Riddle (Voldermort I know - but not under that name). Besides, if it were a possible title for the Chamber of Secrets.....Tom played a huge part in that book so it might be referring to him.

I've always got the impression from the books that Dumbledore was a pure blooded wizard but I don't remember any specific reference to it in the books. I also want people to put to rest that Neville is the one in the prophecy. Even after JK made it so clear in the books that there was no doubt that it was Harry. More than that, the first 5 books have revolved around Harry for crying out loud . And now with the 6th book being call Harry Potter and the Half blood prince, how can there be any doubt?
