Ok, so you're already know who died!! I know it's sad, but for good reasons too.. I find these thoughts to be comforting for me to move on and wait for the next book.By the way it Exceeded expectation!BRilliant book!!!
I just wish JK didn't killed him so early. He just only got out of prison for 2yrs. and 12yrs.in prison for things he didn't commit. I was crying like mad  when he died. But to comfort myself, I told myself now that he's no longer separated from James anymore. "You have thought Black and Potter were brothers!"chimed in Professor Fliwick."INSEPARABLE". For 15yrs since the death of the James, Sirius finally reunited with his friend..... Hope the next book is longer and more details of the past during their years in Hogwart together....... May he rest in Peace..

Hope this will help some of you that are depressed over the death of Sirius!! :D

sirius is my favorite. i was so shocked when he died!! because like you said it's just so early. he was only free for two years and he never really got to have a normal life (not running from the ministry and stuff). it's sad. :-(

I definitly dont think that this is the last of Sirius. I mean, he just went so quickly, and it was so unexpected. But maybe since he fell through the veil that will make things different than if he had just died. I think that Harry is going to try to get to that room with the arch again so he can hear from all the people who have died in his life.

i agree with u there, i dont think it is the last that we'll hear of sirius. i dont think that he's gunna come back or whatever, but i think that we will find out a lot more about him in the next couple of books.
dont get me wrong this isn't a major diss of JKR, however, i think that it's gettin silly the people that harry is losing. i mean i know that he didn't ever really know his parents, but they're still gone, and i think that killing of sirius aswell makes him into too much of a tragic hero; it'll be "poor little hard-done-by harry potter who's lost his godfather, and parents".
i think that as we've seen in this book, harry is starting to feel sorry for himself as he gets a better realistion of what he's lost; and i think that his attitude is only going to get worse.

well, sirius is (and NOT was) one of my favourite characters ... before reading the 5^ book, i expected it was him or lupin who were going to die ... i was right then ...
but i don't think sirius is really over ... i mean, he is a so important character ... he can't leave the story right now!!!! i'm wondering what JK had in mind when she wrote those scenes .... i hope she will find a solution and take him back in the next books! ;)

please give a look to my theory about the veil room :
http://www.broomsticksandowls.com/forum ... php?t=1278
it's not very probable but could be a way to see (or more likely hear) dear old sirius again

Is there a photo of Sirius anywhere?

It's certainly not the same as the real thing, but a talking portait could "bring Sirius back," to some extent.
