Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

Before you start new threads...please read!

Hiya everyone! Before you start a new thread, please look carefully to see if your post can't be incorporated into an existing thread or if your idea belongs in another section (book 5 characters, book 5 theories, or book 5 rumours). I'm currently going through this section right now, and although I would not complain about mod duties (I'm happy and flattered to be a mod), I will say we'll all enjoy the forum experience more with fewer, more concise threads. :D

Don't get me wrong, I'm guilty of starting threads without seeing if there isn't an existing thread!  Just something to keep in mind. If you see changes in this section, it's my attempt to do 'housekeeping' so that you may have a more enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, I cannot merge threads, so I will be moving, splicing, closing, and deleting threads, that last (deleting) being a last resort!

If we all do our part of making sure we are not adding similar threads or adding threads in incorrect sections, we should all be ok. :-) Again, not complaining about mod duties, just hoping we can all work together to make the forum and easy and enjoyable place to post. Thank you everyone! :D

Just a little add on to Lizzy's post- try to avoid posting one-liners or chat style posts. One-liners are basically posts that just agree with what a previous poster has said without adding anything to the discussion. Of course, there are certain one-liners that are all right, but be very careful with short posts. Make certain that your post will contribute to the discussion and is not just a space-filler. Chat style posts are posts that belong more in a chatroom than in a forum.

The more of these posts there are, the longer threads become, and the longer threads become, the harder it is to load threads (do you really like the thought of sitting at your computer for half an hour just waiting for a thread to load up which mainly consists of short nonsense posts or off-topic chats?). Also, consistent posting of nonsense material is sure to get you on the bad side of any mod, as that means we'll have to spend much more time combing through threads to pick out all the side discussions. That's something we don't want to do, as we're very busy people with lives outside of the forum, believe it or not. So please, have consideration for your fellow forum members and your moderators, and try not to post anything you don't need to! If you have any questions about posting, feel free to PM any of us :)
