Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

a truck load of 7,630 Harry Potter books - worth £130,000 - have been stolen!
I read somewhere on Mugglenet.com (plus I just checked again) that it was £1 millon in value, after figuring it out on a calculator its more in the region of what you said violet high, anyway to the post in hand, I can't see why anyone would steal that amount of books with only around three days left, there can't be much of a market for them, I think that most Harry poter fans would rather wait a couple of days to find the info about the book and get a honest copy then have a dodgy copy three days earler, so to me its a raid wasted if you ask me personally, maybe a couple of months ago I might of been tempted to buy a dodgy copy of OoP (as it got to a stage where I could not wait anymore), but not now, whats the point.

I read that the police initially thought it was worth about 1 million, however after speaking to Bloomsbury, they confirmed the amount to be £130,000.

i still think that some people would buy the books early, but at the same time i think that the number of books is just too big u know. but there is like immediate fines and stuff for anyone caught with the book before saturday.

i think that whoever it is that has stolen the books will have a lot of trouble selling them before the release date as it is so high profile, he will no doubt be reported immediately!

Somehow I doubt it...I think that he woudl find it suprisingly easy to offload the books, and probably at quite a high price aswell... some people are just obsissive fanatics, and you usually know who people like that are... ie,the people who weren't just content to rock up at the stores at 9 when it opened, or even 8.30, but slept in the carpark since last night... *9.01 was the release time in aust...*
I think that they would have paid to get the book early!!! ;)

But oh well, it'\s been done now!
