Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

Interview with Mary Grand Pre

Postby DucksRMagical » Saturday 31 May 2008 4:03:30pm

Time magazine has an interview with Mary Grand Pre, illustrator for the US versions, up on their website. I absolutely love her work and I think she's done the best illustrations out of all the versions of the HP books.

She's drawn a new cover for Sorcerer's Stone that will be featured on the 10th anniversary edition of SS, which is coming out September 23 in the US. I can't wait to buy it!

Here's a link.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Do you think that once they release the new cover, that they'll stop selling the version with the old cover? I really would be dissapointed. I'm one of those people who thinks that the original is always better than the next version. Still, the new cover looks pretty good, I think I'll buy that, just to say I have it.
