I actually had a hard time on this one, but I finally settled for "Loopy Ron and accio brains" I thought it was absolutely hilarious. I cana actually picture it in my head.

I also loved the way the other teachers treated Umbridge and the way McGongall talked to her and gave her sass. (Go McGonagall!)

It also rivaled with Lcokhart in St. Mungos. I mean really, the man loses his memory but never his cockiness. Absolutely hilarious.

I'm gonna borrow some funniest ideas:
Eol wrote:I didn't think the Weasley's exit was funny, I thought it was brilliant!!!

The funniest bit for me would have to be McGonagall regretting she couldn't chase after Umbridge because Peeves had borrowed her walking stick!!!
A close runner up was McGonagall again with "It unscrews the other way"

Another was phinneas nigellus "I disagree with Dumbledore on many points, but you can't deny he's got style!

Phineas *wow*, McGonagal, Twins, Peeves --> they couldn't be more different but their comments make my day

Groo, you're only partly right - Phineas is not just the best character of Slytherin, he's the best of all

What about bouncing ferret (poor dear spoilt Draco;) and Marauders torturing Snape? I mean, it was cruel but comical st the came time :-?
I also liked Sirius/Kreacher verbal fights  And Sirius' mom was classic

what a tough call...I voted "Other"....

at the beginning of the book when they are at the OotP and Ron get's his prefect badge. Molly is cooing over him and says something to the effect of "prefect! that's everyone in the family!" and one of the twins says something like, "what are we? Neighbors???" I was dying laughing over this part.

I can say I thoroughly enjoyed the McGonagall VS. Umbridge scenes. They were my favourite by a mile and I still laugh at them without hesitation.
Weasley twins as close second.
