does anyone know what house hagrid was in when he went to hogwarts?

I might have imagined it, but I seem to remember reading somewhere (where perhaps someone else imagined it), but it said he was a Gryffindor. There's additional proof in HBP, but we can't discuss that here since it's spoilers, but there is a thread somewhere in the HBP stuff where Hagrid's house has been discussed, I remember because I posted on it.
