I laughed every time the book mentioned Ron and Lavender...also Luna commentating the Quidditch match was hilarious...so was all DD said...

"I must say your agapanthuses are flourishing"

"Shall we assume you've invited me into your sitting room"

"it would have been better manners to drink it you know"

Even when in mortal danger, DD still comes out with them:

Malfoy: "your phoenix lot got in the way"

Dumbledore: "Yes, they do that"

Hehe!!!

Harry: Yes
Snape: Yes, sir
Harry: Theres no need to call me sir, Professor

Hermione: And I'd have thought, seeing what this has done to your chances in the match . .
Ginny: Oh, don't start acting as though you understand Quidditch, you'll only embarrass yourself

(Ron hides behind the book *snigger*)

Also constant use of the word snogged!

it's my most hated word, "snogging" it sounds like a roald dahl word for a vegetable like "snozzcumber" or something. ugghhhh takes away any romantic thoughts you have when you hear that word.

of course 'in my day' (it amuses me to speak like a granny) they tried to invent a word to replace it, "you were wrapping danny!!!", wrapping, even worse than snogging. "will you wrap me?" OMG, i pity any poor adolsecent teenagers.....

anyway. the bit that made me laugh rather alot was ron's reaction when harry kissed ginny, the jerk of the head said signified "Well, if you must". i can imagine that perfectly.

Luna's commentary and Ginny's ramming the stands in the previous match were both very funny too!
When JKR mentions how furious McG was, I couldn't stop laughing.

Can you imagine how it must be for McGonagall to have to sit next to the commentator every match, and have to correct and censor them. And then she sees this red headed torpedo heading straight for her!!!

I'd say she was livid.

I liked all the Ron and Lavender scenes when he kept dodging her. Also, all the girls chasing after Harry. I particualrily liked the Quidditch matches though, Ginny running into Smith, Luna commentating and even the practices. Normally i dont really find the parts about Quidditch to entertaining but in this book they were really funny!

The best part in any of the quidditch matches was when McClaggen was keeping, took the bludger bat away from the beater trying to show him what to do, then knocking Harry, the captain and seeker of all people, unconscious.
