New Adult Book Covers

Which one is your favorite so far. Are they getting even better as the characters develop over time?

Yucky. i don't really like the new adult covers.

I like the kids ones. Do you think that the reason UK, Australia & canada all have the same ones is because we're all POMs? (prisoner of mother england  )

The USA versions are good too, although sort of in the same style as the pommy ones.

i think that it could be the reason that we have the same covers! but i just think the american ones were changed to try and maximise potential selling of the books

:( Wow, the adult ones are so boring! And the German covers are kinda freaky. Guess I'm too used to the American kind (which I like the best). The UK/Australia/Canada covers for GoF and OotP are pretty nifty as well.

while the adult covers are nice, they're a little too boring for me, they don't do justice to what amazing stories are behind the covers, i prefer the original ones

I can't say as I see how it makes any difference. I always buy hardback books and then take the paper cover off them so I have a plain textbook-looking thing left anyway!!

I will always like the "kids" covers the best, but I think it's a good idea to try to market the books to more adults by using the new covers. Some adults out there still think they're just worthless little kiddie books. *shakes head sadly* Oh how horribly wrong they are......
