What should Dumbledore have tell Harry 5 years ago?

Everyone expects to hear the reason why Voldemort try to kill him, and why he killed his father? We know he only killed Lily because she was trying to save Harry.

Many people believe it is because the Potter's are the heirs of Gryffindor, but that would be too predictable.
(I have a theory but will post it later)

What I am scared of is that paragragh being the last one of the book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(But that's a thing Jo wouldn't do, right?; I mean she always finishes the books at King Cross's station)
